OK I didn't buy any books yet this week, However,I did get a new huge books shelf from Craigslist for free! I got that 72 inch Ikea Expedit shelf. I just gotta buy 5 storage boxes that go inside for the kids toys at the bottom to destract them from touching my books. I can finally take my books of the the boxes!

So I just got some giftcards from co-workers and I had a coupon and I just couldn't wait so I brought the following:

Bought Shutter Island today! Yesterday I bought Her Fearful Symmetry and Dexter in the Dark! Now the hard part... Which one to read first!

Just got The Angel's Game on Paperback for $14 with S&H from Half.com and I also had a B&N gift card and everything seems to be super cheap online with free S&H so I brought:
-The Elegance of the Hedgehog (because it is a Feb. booclub read for work)
-Flory A Miraculous Story of Survival Holocaust 1940-1945 With Earbuds ($3.99)
-Jokes My Father Never Taught ME Life, Love, and Loss with Richard Pryor ($3.99)
-Every Visible Thing A Novel ($3.99)
And a book on Potty Training and a book on Pasta reciepes for $1.99

I just had to buy (off ebay)the 3 books the library didn't have for me to finish the Other's series by Christine Warren :

I bought them used since I don't own the rest of the series and will prob swap them out or give them away.

I know I hate that! I just saw the B&N has The Battle of the Labyrinth for $3.99 and even though I only read the first one it is hard not to buy it but I am not! I like the swap thing on here but I do try to sell them back to Amazon first.

I buy from Half then sell on Amazon I make more money that way and after a while if it doesn't sell then I put them on book swap

I just bought a copy of Sweet Little Lies by Lauren Conrad - I know, its a fluff book, but I was in the mood for something fluff. Its been one of those weeks.

I really want to read some fluff too but I am behind in my BC readings!

I am still waiting for a lot of books that I requested here on book swap. I received The Maze Runner and it was an ARC (they did state that) I like it cuz it's a PB! I never heard word again of Geisha: A Life. She said that she was looking for the jacket but tat was it. She didn't ship it yet.

I also got word that The Bell Jar was shipped. I read this so long ago and loved it and I just want it for my bookshelf!

I just picked up my copy of Shutter Island from B&N (had coupon & Member discount) and I am going to move that ook up on my list.

I just bought The Fifth Queen by Ford Maddox Ford. Looks like its a pretty good read!

I'll be interested to see what you think about Shutter Island, Donna. I have a Lehane on my shelf that I must pick up soon. I've never read him before.

I hear so many things about his books and I hear the movie is supposed to be awesome. I was planning on reading the book anyway I just pushed it up the shelf.

I ordered The Lovely Bones last week and got it yesterday in the mail. I have so many other books to read before I get to it - I am kinda thinking of cracking it open anyway. Although I realy just want to see it before the movie.

I stopped by a local bookstore with my little dog in her purse and ran into the owner who was really laid back and cool about me having my baby in the store. The way I see it people bring their kids who are sometimes noisy and naughty so why can't I bring my doggy? She's like a kid in a dog suit but quiet and well behaved. I even took her out of the purse and she stayed right next to me the whole time.

Tangent alert, sorry! Anyway, they aren't as organized as I would like but I got some awesome buys for $5.95 each:

The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

The only thing is I can't get the doggone sticker off of Screwtape letters! Argh... I have put mineral oil on it to soften the glue but to no avail.

It occurs to me some of us (cough, Donna) have serious book addictions. I think if there was a support group no one would go to it though, LOL

Now I am itching to go to craigslist and see what there is floating around there... ;)
