Future Survivors, the Apocalypse Group discussion

I’m currently reading The Passage by Justin Cronin. I’m halfway done and it’s been good so far. It’s a best seller. I must warn you; it’s over 700 pages. There’s 2 more books in the series. I welcome any comments or questions.

I read it as part of a group read last year, before the series was on TV. I wasn't a big fan of the either the book or the TV show. The TV show, because it was cancelled, really only covered the first third or so of the book. That was actually my favorite part of the book.

For me, there were just too many stupid decisions, so I lost interest in the characters. I was just hoping they'd die off. :(

I didn’t know there was a TV series out. Interesting. I do like the book so far. I like how it goes back and forth through the different characters points of views and experiences. I’ll have to check out the tv series.

Are the other two books in the series as good as the first?

Cancelled after one season (10 episodes). It's available on Hulu or on the Fox website.

I enjoyed all of the books in that series. Long reads, but I always feel like I've broken up with a girlfriend when I finish a book, so the longer the better assuming the book is good.
