I was utterly disappointed with the sequel
Ringer least favorite character
Cassie and Evan favorite characters
I'm going to read the next one

My favorite is also Cassie and Evan.
Also wonder how he'll reconcile the time with Ringer and the others. Ringer's story was at least a month while the other people's story was like a few days.
I will read the next one though. I just can't give up on this series.

I was rather curious about her in the first book because there were no P.o.V of her. (There was no Ben P.o.V in the book... maybe the last book will focus on him?)
Favourite character is obviously Evan and surprisingly I'm warming up to Poundcake.
Least favourite was maybe Teacup.
Of course I will continue the series. COunting down the days!

My least favorite character was Teacup I thought she was annoying.

Being that confused about what is going on in a book isn't necessarily a great thing. So, are the Others really (view spoiler)
This series feels like somebody took The Host and Hunger Games and mooshed them together, added a few additional sadistic twists, threw in a little weird "why are they doing this if he just betrayed her" sex, and called it done. The first book was better at putting that whole concept together (except for the weird sex, there wasn't any of that in the first book), where the second book fell a little short. The reason I did give it 4 stars is because it does leave you craving the next book, NEEDING to know what happens next.
One of my biggest issues was this book was that half of it was from Ringer's POV. And... I just didn't care enough about Ringer after the first book, to care to read so much of her story. I wanted more of Cassie's story. I hate it when the author writes so much from one character's POV in one book, and you become attached to said character, and then introduces another character's POV, wherein which the second character does their best to show why you just shouldn't like the first character (the Percy Jackson books are guilty of this, as well). And Ben... what a pain in the ass he becomes in the second book. His character started off weak in the first book, and got stronger throughout, and then in the second book, he just went back to being plain annoying and wishy washy. I sincerely hope he doesn't end up with Cassie. Please don't let him end up with Cassie.
So - to summarize - however disappointed I may have been in some of the things that happened in this book, I'm not the author and it's his story to tell - and the writing was still really really good. I eagerly wait for the next book to come out!

Being that ..."
I had the exact same issue with the Ringer POV, it just left me wanting more Cassie.
