Brief synopsis of Deliverance From Evil:
Chris Cross is a failing author. His latest paranormal story is trash but he’s broke and desperate as a gambling debt brings two merciless thugs hunting him down, he needs a miracle.
Lauren, his former lover pleads for help when a violent, supernatural entity is sadistically drawn to Ruth, her teenage daughter whose psychic abilities enable her to commune with the dead.
An old traumatic loss caused Chris to lose his faith and his cynical mocking of a paranormal existence was pushed to breaking point by Ruth’s growing powers forcing him to walk out on them. But now as the entity’s brutality against Ruth escalates terrifyingly, a terrible revelation forces Chris to re-evaluate his beliefs and help.
The stakes could not be higher, the souls of several lost children and that of Ruth herself.
I maybe should add I am British so the story is set in England and uses British English so spelling variations are not mistakes or typos.
