Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Hey guys!! I haven't sorted out my TBR for Sept but I'll definitely be reading House of Salt & Sorrows so I'll join the BR :D

message 5: by Eva Luna (new)

Eva Luna (evalunadesie) | 2026 comments Checked all of you in!

I am not sure about my TBR yet, I only know I am BR Calamity (The Reckoners, #3) by Brandon Sanderson & Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) by Cassandra Clare . Also reading Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass, #6) by Sarah J. Maas and thinking about rereading Caraval (Caraval, #1) by Stephanie Garber

message 6: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments I'll be rereading the Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas series but I don't think it will count since it hasn't been a year for all of them.

message 7: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Also reading the Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1) by Jay Kristoff series in anticipation for Darkdawn (The Nevernight Chronicle, #3) by Jay Kristoff !!!

I'm sure in the rules it hasn't got to be a year for this month's challenge, you can read all books regardless of when you last read them :)

I'm so excited for Darkdawn!! I really want to read the series this month but don't think I can squeeze them in :(

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments Hey everyone! I’m on my phone so I won’t post books but to be honest I rarely plan out a whole month because my reading moods change lol But I’ll look at the BR’s and the books I know I’m going to read and post them when I’m home.

message 28: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9874 comments Hi guys :) I've been away for the past few days and at the Harry Potter Studio Tour on the 1st, so no reading was done then. Luckily I had a six hour journey home yesterday with no internet but lots of books with me. I'm going to update everything now :) I hope you have all had a great start to the month.

message 29: by Raghad (new)

They were on my tbr for the longest time but I took them off as I don't read a whole amount of contemporary. How did you like them? I might consider giving them a go :)

message 31: by Raghad (new)

Raghad | 1483 comments i wasn't planning on reading them but i have the audiobooks so i went for it.
surprisingly, i like them a lot XD they have some high school cliche and characters i want to slap at times but the plot shocked me, i'm so hooked. you should give them a go, just lower your expectations lol

message 33: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Hey guys, I've finished like 6 books but haven't had time to write reviews. Should be able to tomorrow or over the weekend!

message 34: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9874 comments Andrea wrote: "Hey guys, I've finished like 6 books but haven't had time to write reviews. Should be able to tomorrow or over the weekend!"

Woohoo :) That's awesome!

I'm finishing off another book before sleep. It's only poetry so won't count for more than a point or two but going to work through my audio BR and hopefully start another physical book tomorrow.

message 35: by Raghad (new)

Raghad | 1483 comments i started Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha, #1) by Tomi Adeyemi , it's a BR. i'm also a 100 pages into A Pound of Flesh (A Pound of Flesh, #1) by Sophie Jackson

message 36: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9874 comments It's the weekend and I'm sick so my plans are to lazy in bed and read as much as possible for the next 48 hours!

I'm working my way (very slowly!!) through my BR for The Last Magician (The Last Magician, #1) by Lisa Maxwell . I'm also a little way into The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson but this is my audio whilst running so may not finish it up for a few days yet. I have three books left over from last month and it would be nice to complete at least two of them but I also really want to start Nordic Tales Folktales from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark by Chronicle Books and Death in Spring by Mercè Rodoreda . Basically, all of the plans yet none of the plans... Haha!

message 37: by Raghad (new)

Raghad | 1483 comments @Danni i hope you feel better!
so far i only read one of my planned books XD

i woke up with a terrible headache so i didn't read any of my physical but i managed to finish the audiobook of Just Listen by Sarah Dessen .
i want to read as much as i can of Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha, #1) by Tomi Adeyemi tomorrow and read some manga.

message 38: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9874 comments I'm feeling a lot better thank you :) Oh no! I hope you're feeling better now too.

My reading plans didn't go anywhere to plan but I did read half of two books :)

message 39: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9874 comments Okay, plans are to actually finish some books today! I have SO many partially read and would really love to complete the two I started yesterday as well as two of the three lingering from August. Let's hope this post holds me accountable!

message 40: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments I just really need to write my reviews 😂😂😂

message 41: by Raghad (new)

Raghad | 1483 comments @Andrea don't we all XD it's a bigger struggle than reading the books lol

message 42: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Raghad wrote: "@Andrea don't we all XD it's a bigger struggle than reading the books lol"

It really is! I think I'll get through most today, but probably won't post them until tomorrow since I have a lot of other work to catch up on :(

message 43: by Eva Luna (new)

Eva Luna (evalunadesie) | 2026 comments Well, August kicked my butt and now I am kinda in a reading slump. Have barely read at all, rather spend my time gaming instead of reading lately. :(

Life gets like that sometimes, don't worry about it Eva :) I hope you enjoy your games and kick the slump soon :D

message 45: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9874 comments I get so lazy with my reviews until they pile up and sometimes I can't remember what to say about each book anymore. This month I'm trying to force myself to review directly as I finish a book but am already one or two behind...

message 46: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Omg yes that’s what I do 😂😂😂

message 47: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9874 comments Managed to finish four book off yesterday, but two of them were started in August. Hoping to finish another little one today and FINALLY start my BR for The Poppy War :)

message 48: by Jammin Jenny (new)
