Rose | 5 comments The cover of the book was yellow, possibly gingham around the edges. It was a large paperback, bigger than a standard sheet of copy paper. The illustrations were line drawings. It was humorously written but incredibly helpful.
It was a thick book and had activities grouped by ages. It was very Montessori oriented (but did not claim to be so.) It also had recipes in the back.

It was called "The Mom_____" and I believe it may be out of print. I think it was published in the late 80s or early 90s.

It wasn't really a book of activities (although there were some) but more along the lines of "At four years old, you child can start working with tools. here's how to put together a safe toolkit for kids."

Does this ring a bell??

Rose | 5 comments That wasn't it.... I feel like it was called the Mom Diaries, but it wasn't diary... it was a synonym for handbook maybe?

Rose | 5 comments I found it!! It was called the Mommy Guide, but that's pretty much impossible to google. I happened upon a decent copy at the Salvation Army the other day and was thrilled!!
