Check out the PNR series ACRO by author Sydney Croft. Lots of dangerous heroes, and there's a great overarcing storyline of Annika and Creed (who's mightily tattooed and pierced, if memory serves correctly).

This isn't PNR, Shannon, but did you read Rock Me, the book by Cherrie Lynn that comes just before Leave Me Breathless? That hero is also pierced, and it's a hot story!
