TAT Books | 9 comments Hi Indie writers!

The Australia Times is in the process of developing an off-shoot of its Books magazine called Indie Books, which will include reviews of indie books and interviews with their authors.

Books can be from any genre or age range (including picture story books) - the only criteria is that they must be either self-published or published by a small independent press.

The magazine will be monthly and each issue will include five or six books plus interviews. We'll be mixing it up as best we can so that each issue features a variety, so don't be put out if your book isn't featured for a few issues. We'll do our best to keep you in the loop re when your book will be featured.

If you're interested please contact me (Ashlee - editor) via message for more info.

cheers

DB Nielsen | 4 comments Hi Ashlee, firstly, I just wanted to say that I think this is a brilliant idea by The Australia Times as Indie authors and their books don't get a lot of coverage normally.
I would love to participate. My novel is a YA/NA paranormal romance (with a lot of history and theology) called SEED: KEEPERS OF GENESIS 1. I'll provide the blurb, so you can see what it's about and wait for you to contact me with more info.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
DB Nielsen (Denise)
Blurb: A powerful, hidden artefact is unearthed and, with its discovery, an ancient conflict is reignited. Seventeen-year-old Sage Woods, the daughter of an eminent archaeologist, uncovers the artefact’s disturbing secret and is placed in terrible danger. Unwittingly, she has stumbled into an invisible war between two primordial dynasties of a supernatural order – a war in which she has a fateful role to play in a race to control the power of the SEED.
Embroiled in a quest that takes her from the British Museum to the Louvre to the Vatican Secret Archives, Sage realises that her blossoming romance with the mysterious, alluring St. John Rivers is inextricably tied to the artefact. Up until now, St. John has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Sage is determined to delve deeper to uncover his dark secret and his connection to the SEED. It is a decision that will have a devastating effect on humankind…
