New Book “Life in a Faceless World” by Author Cyril Mukalel attempts to promote a greater understanding between cultures and facilitate friendships between diverse groups; there by removing the fear incited from ignorance.

The message of the book to learn about other cultures, promote inclusion vs exclusion, being inviting rather than rejecting has resonated very well with many prominent American politicians. Book’s initial supporters and readers include highflying US Congress woman Ilhan Omar, several Minnesota House of Representatives, Mayors.
 
 “Life in a Faceless World” is a fictional novel that depicts the life of a young immigrant woman from India. Each chapter is the representation of different events in her life that exposes the cultural mindsets of people from that region to the western world. The story set in both, US and India also allow the readers to experience the Indian cultural traits and family values that can never be separated. Social issues like religious extremism, child labor, triple-talaq, Love-Jihad, exploitation of Tech workers and domestic abuse are also elegantly knitted into the plot. The pages of this book also hold the secret to finding true happiness in the midst of struggles in our daily lives.

Cyril Mukalel Thomas residing in the United States, for the past 20 years, is a story writer, poet and a lyricist. His writings are influenced by the values and dreams of ordinary people. Cyril’s accomplishment includes winning the 2013 Loft Inroads Fellowship and numerous other awards for his short stories and poetry.
