Megan (mhmcneill) | 4 comments Right now I'm reading "The Barrowfields" by Phillip Lewis. It's rather sad and dark, but beautiful.

Previously I tried to read "The Typewriter's Tale" by Michiel Heyns. I couldn't finish it...it was so dull!

ester marie ♡⁎⁺˳✧ (esterrestrial) I just finished Stuff I've Been Feeling Lately by Alicia Cook but it's not my cup of tea.

Dorie - I'm trying to get through this one. I like the adoption part more than anything. So far, this is not Lisa See's best work. But only at the halfway point and it has improved. Shanghai Girls and China Dolls are my favorites. Also Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. Haven't read Peony in Love yet.

I got approved for this one too; I look forward to reading it, but since it's not out until June, I have aways to go since I'm working on my April books at the moment. I have a couple I must read and put up reviews on my blog since I was invited by the publisher on one and participating in a blog blitz for another one.

message 541: by PattyMacDotComma (new)

PattyMacDotComma | 621 comments Just a comment - I have trouble reading the titles of the books that are posted with only the cover unless I'm on a laptop and can hover over it.

Some of the covers are gorgeous and deserve to be seen, of course! But if I have to tap on one to see what the book is, I usually don't bother if I'm on a different device.

A thousand pardons if anyone feels offended - I certainly don't intend that!

Thanks, Kathryn! Do you ever use the Goodreads app on a device? It's pretty limited, sadly.

I pretty much only update my reading or check status updates and reviews. I tried checking my groups awhile back and it would only let me start from the first page and move page by page. Not sure if they've improved that feature om the phone app though.

Same here, Kathryn. I use the notifications list on phone or iPad sometimes, which works, but sometimes I'd like to add a link in a comment and I can't then. First World problem! :)

Night Watch #4 in the Kendra Michaels series by Iris Johansen.

I haven't read the first three, when she was blind, but she's obviously kept her acute awareness.
