Carol (carolfromnc) I finished Paving the New Road Paving the New Road by Sulari Gentill by Sulari Gentill. It wasn't the book for me, but many other readers would enjoy this historical mystery that takes place in 1930s Germany and Australia. My review is here:

PattyMacDotComma | 621 comments Just enjoyed Aussie author Luke Slattery's "imagined history", as he calls it, Mrs. M.

It's an entertaining, completely fabricated romance between a couple of historical figures in early Sydney town. Such a painless way to learn a bit of history. :)

When you reply just click above the box where it says add book/author, then type in and search for the book you want, click on add cover for the photo, or add link if that is what you want. Does that help?

message 981: by SundayAtDusk (new)

SundayAtDusk | 88 comments Yes, that's very easy to understand. Thank you, Dorie. I never noticed the "add cover" option.

Gave up on this one 50% through, I just couldn't stand another page with this unbelievable and annoying character, DNF for me, that's all folks!
