A fun, unique historical romance that has a small paranormal element that definitely makes this series stand out among other historical romances.

I do enjoy finding a new mystery writer with good characters! Aussie author Zane Lovitt has written the very entertaining Black Teeth, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Just enjoyed Aussie author Luke Slattery's "imagined history", as he calls it, Mrs. M.It's an entertaining, completely fabricated romance between a couple of historical figures in early Sydney town. Such a painless way to learn a bit of history. :)

Daddy Darkest and Heir Ascendant are the two main ones.
LOVED the first in British author Mick Herron's Slough House series Slow Horses. Demoted old-world spooks and new-world geeks are suddenly needed. Deadly, funny, well-written. 5★

The second in the Slough House series that I'm loving. Dead Lions by English author Mick Herron is another fun spy story. Cold War sleuthing in today's world. Great characters. Not necessary to read them in order.

, To the Bright Edge of the World because I'm leading a book club discussion. I purchased the book because I knew I would need a refresher and I'm so glad I did because there are photos, maps and author's notes which I'm really enjoying. I'm hoping my book club will like this book, I loved it :)

, The Glitch but am getting close to giving up on it. I truly don't exactly know what I'm reading and the main character is so annoying I just don't care what happens to her :(Gave up on this one 50% through, I just couldn't stand another page with this unbelievable and annoying character, DNF for me, that's all folks!
