message 315: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresaoh) I'm currently reading the Eskimo Solution by Pascal Garnier and it's a bit confusing. I'm at 25%.

Anita (Hearts and Whodunits) | 31 comments I'm in the middle of reading The Murder of a Queen Bee by Meera Lester. It's a good mystery, but it seems a little longwinded. Too much description of everything in the setting.

Dorie - Cats&Books :) (dorie--catsbooks) | 427 comments Helen wrote: "I am readingTo The Bright Edge of the World by Eowyn Ivey I loved the author's first book Snow Child."

Though this is so beautifully written I'm having trouble with it. Started and stopped it 3 times.

Anita (Hearts and Whodunits) | 31 comments I just started a book called Think Better, Live Better by Joel Osteen. It's a bit of a departure from my usual reads, but I found it, and thought, "Why Not?"

Dorie - Cats&Books :) (dorie--catsbooks) | 427 comments I've skipped way, way ahead of myself here and am reading The Fall of Lisa Bellow by Susan Perabo , which isn't due out until March 2017. I was in a reading funk and was perusing all of my books and this one just called to me. It's very, very good so far. Thanks to Elyse for the recommendation.

message 327: by Megalion (new)

Megalion | 21 comments I've been hemming and hawing about Commonwealth. I have not read any of her books. I did like the excerpt for this one in BookBuzz.

Since it's out now, don't need it via arc.

See my comment in other group for your other read. Heh.

I'm reading Book of the Night (The Black Musketeers #1) by Oliver Pötzsch and will read Ashes (Seeds of America, #3) by Laurie Halse Anderson right after as it came out today. Both are middle grade books. Rare for me. But they're very readable at adult level. Been a trend lately.
