Billie's Not So Secret Diary (billiesnotsosecretdiary) | 257 comments The Poisons We Drink by Bethany Baptiste The Poisons We Drink by Bethany Baptiste was a spin on the witch trials, and while I liked it, it needs more backstory on the history and about the magic.

Billie's Not So Secret Diary (billiesnotsosecretdiary) | 257 comments Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew could have been a creepy horror story, but it failed because of too much foreshadowing, plot and character inconsistencies.

Billie's Not So Secret Diary (billiesnotsosecretdiary) | 257 comments I listened to the audio of Someone You Can Build a Nest In Someone You Can Build a Nest In by John Wiswell by John Wiswell, and it was a cute cozy horror story, but the MC's name, Shesheshen, was repeated over and over again, even when she was the only character in the setting. It got boring and lost a star because of it. But the narrator did a great job!
