11811 (Eleven) (11811) | 1561 comments Good choice! Looking forward to your thoughts. I read it last year and it's back on my tbr list for this year. I can't say enough good things about that story.

Todd Russell (toddrussell) | 118 comments The setup was a bit too long, but the last 70% is pure horror gold. Not sure I'm interested in the sequel. Seems like more of a one and done affair. What could possibly be more horrifying to Roger after this story?

Paul Losada | 2 comments I just finished this one recently and was surprised by how much I liked it. The character development is very strong, making the horror (once it eventually hits) all the more effective. But ultimately I think it works for me if I view it as a big metaphor for the terror of entering adulthood. Too many times in the course of this novel I felt similar feelings in my stomach of first-time job and living experiences straight out of college (which is roughly the age of the novel's protagonists).

I've started it and it is a bit slow so far.

Carlos (cdlt1983) I'm about 70% of the way in and I'm loving it, great character development.

Jo Quenell | 4 comments This book was fantastic! I was worried that it would be a "guts and gore with little else" book, but the characters are fleshed out and relatable, which just makes their unfortunate fates even more heartbreaking. I know that there were talks of a movie with Bill Moseley (friggin' chop top!) playing Skinny Man, but I don't know if that project got 86'd or not.

Hi, Addy. Did you ever get around to reading this?

I've read Salticidaeand Ratings Game by Thomas and loved these books too.

Kat (deusdexmachina) | 12 comments I know this thread has been inactive for a while, but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to create a new thread on the subject.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the 3rd Roger Huntington novel being released. I know Thomas has been busy with his first child, but he hasn't posted on his website or his blog since last year. Does anyone else have any more recent info on this?
