Meaning: Esposito = Exposed (abandoned by parents)
Nickname: Ari
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Date of Birth (DOB): February 19
Appearance:

Height: 5'4
Weight: 110 lbs.
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: Dark Reddish-Brown
Personality:
Aria had always been a reserved girl who stood away from the rest of the world. She used to be full of action and seemed to appear right when someone needed her. Aria seeked thrill but always tended to forget about her own safety.
Aria had been a quiet person since her early childhood when she was taunted for having a strange last name. Coming from a family foreign to the States, gave her a lot of trouble and grew into her quiet attitude. The other children tended to keep away from the strange girl and were frightened by her occasional tantrums. She was taught to keep her emotions in check and to show no interest in anyone or anything, afraid of rejection.
Aria was the most intelligent girl in her grade; more like her entire school. She studied more than the original assignment, taking each subject into more depth. She reached out to college textbooks for guidance in different classes. By her eighth year, she was knowledgeable in courses much higher than her and had discussions beyond her maturity. Aria dumbfounded her parents and wiser adults with her extensive knowledge.
Her big brain did worse for her in the environment she lived in then it did good. Aria uncovered many hidden secrets in her family that only added on to her rage with her family.
Despite her brain and her silent moods, Aria had always been attractive to others. She is claimed to be a loner though so when she gets close with someone, she pushes them away. She has dreams of escaping reality, wishing to go somewhere were she didn't have to live with the people who birthed her.
History:
Aria hated always being treated as the problem child. Her older brother Nico was perfect poster boy for her parents and though he was the only bearable one in the family he got all the benefits. She envied her brother for all the perks he was treated with for doing "good things". She always felt second place to him.
On one night, Aria was starting a school English project concerning her family. To do this, she had to trace back her ancient ancestors and research what they did in the time period given. She had gathered old boxes stuffed to the brim with materials handed down to by the family. She wasn't sure who the family was as she hadn't met anyone outside her immediate members. She had never heard of any uncles or aunts or even any cousins. Her mother had slipped one day and revealed a unfamiliar name while whispering to her father.
Aria searched the old dusty boxes for the only name she knew, pin pointing him finally in one of the older volumes. The diary was nearly falling apart, pages slipping out of its threads. She discovered just who this person was after a quick analysis of dates and the mention of a birth. She found that the man was her father's father, Augustus Esposito. Scanning the rest of the diary, she unfolded dozens of hidden secrets tucked into the series of diaries tucked into the dusty boxes.
Furious with the disturbing information, she confronted her mother with the diaries. It all ended very badly, resulting in Aria escaping from her childhood home in a frenzied panic. She traveled far away, not once looking back over her shoulder at her old home. During her journey, she had been jumped in her sleep and taken captive by veiled men. By then, she had been submitted into the sex slave trade business without any hope of getting back out.

Meaning: Jasper = Jewel
Meaning: Perdu = Lost
Nickname: X
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Date of Birth (DOB): June 5
Appearance:

Height: 5'8
Weight: 105 lbs.
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: Dark Reddish-Brown
Personality:
Jasper is typically full of energy, wit, and creative ideas. Not content to walk the same path as everyone else around them, he often looks for new approaches, novel solutions and creative answers to life's every day problems. He is often very adept at solving problems by applying his "people-skills" to a problem. His natural understanding of human emotions make his particularly good at influencing others.
Jasper is very tenacious -- particularly when defending himself and those he cares about. He is not afraid of hard work, although the desire to do so will often vary. Jasper's natural desire to seek creative solutions makes his excellent additions to any team. He is trustworthy and understanding. For the most part, he does not the lead--but rather the creative genius behind the scenes which makes it all possible.
He is a very defensive person and will put up strong walls and barriers to defend himself. However, if these walls are broken, Jasper will treat that person with enormous passion and emotion.
Jasper's gift of emotional intelligence and understanding is something of a double-edged sword in relationships: On the one hand he is extremely good at emotional communication and empathetic understanding -- on the other hand however, he can often be easily hurt or angered because his emotional "radar" is much more finely tuned.
He can also be oversensitive and moody. Jasper might imagine problems are bigger than they actually are and worry drives his into his protective shell as a means of preventing himself from getting hurt any further. This is when he will refuse to open up to other people as he withdraws more into himself. He finds it hard to take advice and criticism and will react in a strong defensive way.
He has a great memory but might tend to bring up old disagreements that other people have forgotten about when these would be better left buried in the past. Being sensitive to other people, he is easily influenced by those who wish to take advantage of his compassion and kindness.
History:
Jasper had been doted and loved by all of his family members. Everyone was distraught when they heard of what had happened to him. One a spring evening, he had gone on with his usual schedule. At the end of his Algebra class, he gathered all of his books and belongings, packing them into his bookbag and the rest into his locker. With quick strides, he soon appeared in the locker room nearby the pool. Without dressing into his swim clothes, he tossed his belongings onto the bench next to the pool before standing at the edge. Jasper closed his eyes and without another thought, his body dropped into the water. There are moments in life that nothing special happens, only wasted seconds ticking by. It is then that those seconds matter the most, when they are taken away from you. Seconds had died off of Jasper's life as he fell slow motion into the water. Instead of resurfacing, his body purposely kept his body under the water. He refused his lungs the chance to breathe oxygen once again. As more seconds went by, the only thoughts he had were of how beautiful the bubbles erupting from his lips looked like. His vision was interrupted by an awkward hand, misplaced, dipping into the water, sending a flow of bubbles around them. Jasper's body was lifted out of the water and thrown onto the floor surrounding the pool. He panted for breaths, water clogging up in his nose and mouth. Wheezing, he found his older brother staring at him with horrified eyes. With tears all threatening to fall from their eyes, his family sent Jasper off to a teenager detention facility to relax his mind and find out the malfunctions he was going through. When he finally returned, he was able to reconnect with his best friend, finding that perhaps he saw something different in her than he might have seen before.

No one really ever knew where to find him. It was harder for those who had once been close to him to findout his whereabouts when he hardly spoke to anyone anymore. He would disappear randomly throughout the day when his mood dampened and single line of conversation could only further worsen his situation. The pity was everywhere and everlasting. He could never take it and felt guilty for taking advantage. Assignments were never turned in and grades were dropping. Jasper, who had once been on the top of the world, had now fallen in a heap on the bottom of the pyramid. He blew out a wave of smoke from in between his lips as the cigarette balanced in between his middle and index finger. His feet swayed, hovering five floors above the ground, with his body seated on the edge of a rooftop.

He was aware of the sounds coming from the stairwell that led to the rooftop. It was completely separate from the original staircase that guests walked up to their rooms. Or if course, the elevator was available too. But the elevator didn't open up to the rooftop so he wasn't fearful of someone accidentally riding up here. But there were some people who knew him better than others, even after the accident. He didn't want their pity as he expected from most people he had once been friends with. Now, he didn't really have anyone anymore. His shoulders and body tensed as he heard footsteps on the gravel before a smaller body took a seat next to him. Thin arms wrapped around him as they spoke. "I'm fine, Lily. Just wanted a smoke." Jasper told her, purposely breathing out another cloud of smoke.

A brooding expression littered his face as he stared out into the distance. He could see the lights flickering across the city, some shutting down. It was late and the sky had darkened to a purplish-blue while he waste the day away. he had contemplated over bringing a bottle of vodka with him up onto the roof, but he knew better. He couldn't be drinking during the day anyway because it would mess up his medication. Smoking well...what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them. He rolled his eye at Lily, growing irritated by her presence. "Maybe I just don't want you here? Did you ever think of that?" Jasper scowled at her, his nose wrinkling as his eyes sharpened into a glare.

He scowled deeply as he moved his eyes around the perimeter. He couldn't well get up and leave in a hurry. If he did, he would most likely misstep and fall over the side of the rooftop. It was highly dangerous up here and he couldn't quite pinpoint why he chose to take refuge here. Maybe it was the actual height and the feeling of danger that overwhelmed him whenever he hung his legs over the side of the roof. Or maybe it was the ability to smoke freely without wing yelled at by random strangers. His scowl deepened as she made her suggestion. "Why do you even try, Lily? Things are so different now." Jasper shook his head in frustration, pressing the joint to his lips again. He breathed in and opened his mouth to release the smoke in the air.

Jasper shook his head, fed up with what she was tellin him. Things could never go back to the way they were. He had done terrible things to others and himself and now he was Justine pushing everyone away from him. It was his mechanism to deal with what had happened in his life. It was hard to move on but he couldn't even feel that Lilly could pull up his mood. "No, it never will. I tried to kill myself! I can't just turn back after that." He refused to acknowledge what she was trying to do for him. She was always someone who helped him and now be wouldn't allow her to help him anymore.
