Are you truly in the spirit for Halloween? It's time to grab a book that will give you a fright and leave you sleeping with the lights on, if you dare to sleep at all. Amber | 9 comments I really liked The Woman in Black. It's one of very few books that has a movie adaptation that is really quite different from the book, but where I like both the book and the movie independently of each other, rather than resenting the movie for not being more like the book... Where I think the primary theme of the movie is actually loss, rather than horror, the book is very much purely about fear.

Suzanne Connolly | 22 comments I'm reading Horns now. I kept seeing articles about the movie and then the book got turned in..so I picked it up. So far not bad.
