Hi. So how does the point things work for the books you have read? Does it have to be with a buddy? Do you have to be on a team? And if so how do you join a team?

Points are given as part of our challenges, for which you can either join a team or go solo. Basically points are earned through reading books and submitting a review, and bonus points are given if you read your book with a buddy within the group. I was thinking that top teen/ya books theme challenge would something the group could do.

For instance if you went with Harry Potter you could do

Top grossing books from 1997 to 2007 (From when the first book was published to when the last book was published)

Read a book that was turned into a movie

Read a book about cats or has a cat on the cover (Mrs Mcgonagall)

Read a book where the main villain in a previous series is now the main character. (This is worded weirdly but basically it would be a book told from Lord Voldermort's POV instead of Harry's.)

Read a book about werewolves (Lupin)

Read a book about witches/wizards

Read a book about a boarding school (Hogwarts)

Read a book about an alternate dimension (The witch world?)

Read the seventh book in a series (because Harry Potter had seven books)

etc.

This challenge could just as easily be used for another book as well. Or even many at once. Like you could pick two or three books for the challenge. ^-^

Are we going to have the page count challenge again this year? Or something similar? If so when? I have some short books I'd like to read but I can't count them for most challenges. ^-^

How about a chat thread for solo participants? I love to chat with other people, but I like to read on my own without depending on others etc. Don't know if it could work, just a suggestion for future challenges with both teams and solo participants :)

When do Buddy Reads Schedule threads come out for the next month? Like the one for May?

Does wattpad stories count for challenges? Specifically Too Late by Colleen Hoover, which is a finished story, but (sadly) won't get published.

Does it say on wattpad how many words or pages it is?

I believe it says how many words :)

If it says how many words then we'll be able to work out how many pages approximately and you'll be able to use it ☺

Oh nooo. There's not any word count. There used to be though. What a shame. :)

I'm reading it now and its fairly long! Would count for this months challenge easily, but would be more difficult for next months page count challenge.
