I'm reading a book that doesn't seem to have page numbers listed anywhere... I've never had this happen before, so I'm not really sure how to request a page count??
This is the book:

ISBN: 9798704272786
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Amazon has it listed as 340 pages. - https://www.amazon.ca/Hit-Miss-Sexy-D...
Edit: The paperback edition is listed at 388 so you would get one extra point.

Yes. Just mention no page count on Goodreads and link the Amazon link. :)
I've checked, but everything is working fine here (it's a lack of a second or 2). Maybe it's your browser that you're using that is slowly loading?

Hi Trương, maybe keep trying and see if you can find something you actually like? I don't think you'll have much fun trying to read something you don't understand. Maybe you could look for some short stories to read?

Would it be possible to add a discussion section where group members get their own personal thread to post their monthly TBRs and challenge progress? Or if not, then a single thread where each person can comment with their TBR/Challenge progress and then come back to that comment/thread to edit it as needed?

Awesome. Thank you so much! =D

No problem. ^_^
Above the comment box on the right there is a link 'add book/author' click that, and then when a search box pops up, click the bubble at the bottom that says 'cover'. Now search using the search box, and click 'add' on the books you want to post ☺
(I think you can only do it on the main site though, not the app)

I have three questions regarding the challenges:
1) Where do I post the status updates of the book I am reading?
The chat thread or the review threat?
2)Do I have to let the Mods know in advance, if I won't be able / don't want to write reviews and will only do the +4 status updates?
3) Just to make sure that I understood that correctly ( it took me two weeks to figure it out). It's about Part 5 of the Challenger rules.
If I read a book in a Buddy-Read, that also counts for a Challenge, the updates / reviews must be different.
Thanks ^^

It's about the Challenge bookshelf: Can I delete it after the challenge? And do I have to put books there before the challenge starts or can I add them later?
Hi Kay-Mika,
1) You post updates on Goodreads if you're doing updates, I don't know if you know what that means, but basically, if you go to the Goodreads home page, or to the Goodreads page of the book which you are reading, there is an option to 'update progress'. There's one box where you pop in either how many pages or what percentage you are into the book, and then a bigger box where you can write your comment. Like this -

2) Nope, you can choose for each book you post whether to do a review or updates. It's up to you ☺ Just link us to the review page each time so that we can easily see your updates (they show up under where your review would be). Like this -

3) If you buddy read a book, we expect you to have different details in your buddy read comments and your review. Cutting and pasting your buddy read comments and using them as your review or updates won't count.
4) The challenge widget/bookshelf is just for you, we won't look at it. You can add and remove books or delete the shelf whenever you'd like.
Hope that helps, let me know if you have any more questions ☺

Huh that's odd? Maybe you have to send a friend request first; I know that I accept PMs from people who are in the same groups as me, so it's quite weird that you can't send messages. But the friend request thing might solve that problem! So just send a friend request to the mod you want to send a message to, and then you should be able to send a PM!

I would like to find people, to do sprints with but not necessarily read the same book as I have a lot of boos to get through and on a book buying ban till I’ve read all 22 of them lol
Do we have reading buddy threads , or can I start one for people to read with me ?

If you don't want to read the same books, you shouldn't start a new buddy read thread! You can look in the 'reading sprint' thread and post a comment there, the idea is that you can read with people there while reading different books :) So you don't have to read the same book then :)

Reading sprints thread - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... Hopefully you'll be able to find people who are on Goodreads at the same time as you are ☺

I haven't planned any of the challenges for next year yet, we did a Harry Potter one earlier this year which was Jumanji-style, but nothing else in the works at the moment ☺

Kay-Mika wrote: "What happens if we post a finished book to the wrong team review threat?"
You can either delete your comment or we do, we'll figure out that it's not posted for the right team :)

Here is my question: Where can I learn from a good source how best to word a review on a book?
I did a few good ones on Amazon for books....not many though. I don't want to give away the story.
Thanks, Folks!
- Samantha!
Hi Samantha, we have some pointers on writing a review at the top of this thread - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... but I'm afraid we don't have anything else x

I'm not sure there's anything we can do, it might just be Goodreads, we will have a think and see if we can find a solution x

Hi Robin, that's fine, this is probably the best folder to post in ☺ - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

I seem to be the only one reading Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover right now.
Hi Mel, authors and publishers usually make posts in either our book talk folder or our free books folder to offer free ebook copies of books ☺ You can find those folders here -

We don't usually organise book giveaways or reviews anymore because it took a lot of time and we couldn't keep up with it all x

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, and it's not easy to know which is which. Some of my oldest books from Netgalley which were sent to my kindle will no longer open, but others from the same time still do. Sorry I can't be of more help x
