that's quite funny because I had one of those in the works. We used to do a partner challenge where you have to pick 20 books, and then your partner picked 10 of them for you to read, and the order in which to read them. I was going to adapt it into a team challenge where each team picked a pool of books ☺ I just hadn't worked out the kinks with regards to re-reads and preferred genres. No point being in a team with people who read horror if you can't stand horror etc.

When people sign up we could indicate x amount of the genres we will read. So if I were to sign up I would write paranormal, romance and fantasy next to my name (if we could choose up to 3 that is.). And I guess re-reads would just be inevitable???

I just though of a possible idea to avoid re-reads. What if also when we post our genres we post the ten most recent books we read? Or something like that? This is already sounding like a lot of work for you guys. >.<

Is it okay if we start a buddy read two days early. Will it still count?

I know I'm thinking ahead here, but are we going to do like a sort of finish your series that you started challenge thing at any stage this year? I'm being nosey because I want to know if I should binge read my series' next month or just leave them to binge in another month :P

Yep, we'll be doing it the usual time of 2 months in November and December. :)

Hey guys! I want to make a buddy read thread for but there isn't any genre folder it fits in! The heading genre is Womens Fiction and the next ones are Fiction and Romance. Can you please help me?

I was thinking for the February challenge since you guys do New Years resolutions challenge in January that you could do a challenge about love/romance? I don't know if you guy already do this but you could have it a bit like we just did for the October challenge and have a list of categories that we are given and some of the categories could be:

Couple of cover
Family of cover (for familiar love)
Hearts of cover

Has to have a strong romance in novel
Has to have a Lesbian couple
Has to have a gay couple
Has to have an LGBTQA theme with romance
Has to show a loving family.


etc.

Could we have The Selection series thread (link) changed/updated to start The Selection 11/1 and continuing on with the series from that date? I'm not sure of the exact dates for the rest of the series, but we plan on reading them soon after finishing the first book.

Also, if we could have the date for The Mortal Instruments series (link) changed/updated for City of Bones (11/1), City of Ashes (11/11), & City of Glass (11/21).
