Here’s what I know. Being a cupid is hard work.

Love Matches, Lust Breath, Flirt Touches, not to mention having to meet my quotas every month. And hitting your target with arrows? That shit is not easy.

But all of that I could handle. Gladly. If only my cupid powers would actually work. But nope. Turns out, I’m a dud.

Unless I want to get sucked out of existence, I need to spread some love around fast. The clock is ticking, but I have the perfect candidate to start with.

Warren Knight. Smart, hot as hell, rich, bachelor-dud extraordinaire. No matter how many dates he goes on, he just won’t seal the deal. It’s time I fix him. And fix me too.

Of course, the asshole doesn’t want to fall in love, so I have my work cut out for me.

They say there’s no rest for the wicked. Well, they should try being a cupid, because this shit is exhausting. Here goes nothing.

I kind of wish we got to know more about why Trix's cupid powers didn't work in the first place, and why shes now human.. those seemed like pretty convenient plot points that didn't really get much explanation. Maybe there is some "grand" design thing that will happen later. I was also really hoping Emelle would make a cameo but it looks like she is too busy.. lucky biotch. lol. (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[ Whew.. I tell you what. All in all I loved the story and thought it was adorable and heartbreaking and adorable lol. I feel like there were some loose ends throughout that weren't tied up as neatly as I would like to have had them tied. Like we really never found out why her powers were on the fritz to begin with and all that jazz or anything concrete about how he makes her powers work correctly. As far as hilarity there was some funny moments but in comparison to RK's other stuff this was only mildy humorous to me. The book was still entertaining though and made for a great read. I thought the story was adorable. I liked the idea behind the Cupidity series, so this was right in line but without the RH. The situations Trix got herself into were pretty funny (well, except for the Sparrow thing). I'm still chuckling how she found herself at a nudist colony within hours of being sent to earth in corporeal form. (hide spoiler)]

Lol RK is giving me life, can't believe I just found her. So we are doing that series but not until the end of the month so all the books will be out.... Grave Mistakes on the 25th and one more each day after that unless you can't wait which I would totally understand. I only posted for half our July BR's since we had so many and I know Sarah must hate seeing all my requests lol

When I get home I can send u a list of the BR's we are doing so you can see if there are any you want to join :)

Her exuberance for life was also fun, she got such joy out of the simple things. Just making a bucket list made her happy but then again I guess gaining a body after being corporeal for so long will do that to a girl. I’m glad they were able to both live on in the human world. I thought when he almost died he’d become a Cupid and they’d be partners or something. Liked this ending even more. (hide spoiler)]

KU is life.. Totally worth it. What I ended up doing was canceling my hulu subscription and just going with KU since I like to read more than I like to watch TV and its so completely worth it. Its amazing how much more you will read when there are always books at your finger tips!

Tell me about it I read about 20 books from KU a month. Some are great others aren't worth the read but it makes you feel better that you aren't paying full price.

Chapter 11: (view spoiler)[ One of the most surprising things about this book in relation to the series before it is that where that series had a whole supernatural/paranormal thing going for it.. despite the obvious paranormal parts this book is so surprisingly contemporary. I feel like Trix spends a lot of time in the beginning being so down on herself so it takes a while for the humor to start to set in. (hide spoiler)]

"Maybe by me making Matches the old fashioned matchmaker way, I've kickstarted my own cupidity." Finished: OK so I still think (view spoiler)[ that there should have been this aha moment where the powers that be.. or whatever came down and explained that her cupid powers didn't work because she was meant to save him as an angel and they needed her to do it.. or some Grand plan for this to have worked out the way it needed too. Like some explanation from fate itself. Some of the "turns" in the plot just feel a little too convenient without some sort of design in that direction. Still really like the story though. Trix is fun. I'm still disappointed neither Emelle nor Lex made any appearances in this and we got stuck with Sev the whole time. Lex's story was very unfinished at the end of the Heart Hassle Series.. so I'm really miffed we didn't get to see her in this.. at least somewhere. I mean if its only been a couple of months since the "change" to the cupid job life then she should be there somewhere.. (hide spoiler)]
