With a violent and abusive past, Flint Klemens lives on the fringes of society and within a sliver of his sanity. He’s compromised by a corrupt Attorney General, drug pushers and businessmen who try their best to sideline him for speaking out. By chance he meets Gwennie, and they move interstate to start anew, only to find themselves caught in a web of corruption and vice. Gwennie disappears and Flint’s left to deal with his psychotic mind. He is taunted by his enemies who, he discovers, are more closely linked than ever before.

Crack Falling's themes of perseverance, identity and place are pivotal to the narrative that follows the young lives of the central characters Flint and Gwennie. Both struggle with memories of domestic violence and abuse, and aim to deal with their drug addictions and find their place. They struggle against vice and corruption, finding themselves in compromising situations. Flint and Gwennie try to vindicate themselves, actively seeking out those wishing them harm.

Flint fights his own inner-turmoil’s, Gwennie surrounds herself in mystery and they both become pawns in a much larger drug conspiracy, finding that the world is small and that curiosity sometimes doesn’t kill the cat. Crack Falling will have you on the edge of your seat, turning pages in a race to match the pace and find out whether justice will be served.

“I stayed up to finish it. Scared my husband when I started yelling at my iPad because it stopped! I can see me adding this to my list of favorites and reading it over and over. I stopped watching Dr Who because I was so wrapped up in the story.”

Not long ago, Lorraine lost her husband to another woman. She thought that's the worst thing that could happen to her, but soon she realizes it's only the beginning of an everlasting nightmare.

The au pair, Lexy, moves to Seattle to help Lorraine with her infant son. But she didn't come for the kids, she came for something else.

When Ella receives a call from her sister, Lorraine, who begs her to leave San Diego to spend time with her in Seattle, she thinks she will take a few days off from work. Frightened to see how her sister weakened since her diagnoses, she packs her small bag with a foreboding that this might be the last time she sees her.

But on her way to the airport she learns that something shocking had happened between the day she last spoke with Lorraine and the morning of the flight. Lorraine’s testimony changes, making Ella question how unreliable her sister really is.

Soon Ella is entangled in a mysterious investigation, and more so, in the lives of everyone involved. Not only will she realize that she won’t go home soon, but she will never look at others the way she did before

William Davis | 132 comments Enter to win 1 of 4 copies of THE SHOOTING, a Mike Gage Thriller.

On April 20, 1999 two teenage boys killed 13 people and wounded 21 others at Columbine High School. At the time I had three high school age stepchildren. The thought of something like that happening hit everyone in our family hard. Since then, school shootings have become nearly epidemic. Why they are happening percolated in my mind over the years and I wondered about the impact on not only the victims’ families, but those of the perpetrators. Eventually, those thoughts compelled me to write my third Mike Gage Thriller, THE SHOOTING. Though I obviously didn’t plan it this way, it’s almost like reading today’s headlines.

Here’s a summary:
A shooting at an exclusive Florida high school masks an even more insidious plot. When authorities are tight-lipped about the incident’s details, anguished families retain former homicide investigator Mike Gage to find the answers they so desperately seek. Mike knew one of the dead kids, the daughter of a close associate, motivating him even more to discover what happened and why. As Gage digs into the backgrounds of the two shooters and finds that one was the victim of early childhood abuse, an attempt on his own life tells Gage he’s on the right track. That dangerous road eventually leads to a shadily-financed school for boys, behavior-altering drugs, and a mind-warping on-line game that portends youthful terrorism nationwide.
Rather than label it a ‘thriller’, I believe it might be classified more of the mystery/suspense nature. Advance readers have told me it’s ‘hard to put down.’

But all of that changes when Henry’s bipolar brother, in one of his manic states, tells him that Goliath didn’t really die as told in the biblical story – and that he is Goliath.

When his brother disappears along with a media magnate, the FBI and the local police believe they may have been part of a secret international network and that Goliath was his brother’s code name. The solution to this puzzle may reside in his brother’s laptop computer, which mysteriously disappears during a break-in at his house.

Is his brother dead or just hiding from forces trying to destroy the network? Henry tries to solve the puzzle along with an intriguing woman he encounters at an airport bar.

A.C. Fuller (ac_fuller) | 1 comments Hi friends,
My debut thriller, THE ANONYMOUS SOURCE, is free until 3/12/16 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/The-Anonymous-S...

Would love to hear your thoughts on it!

Here's what it's about:
FIND THE SOURCE. BREAK THE STORY. STAY ALIVE.

ONE YEAR AFTER the 9/11 attacks, Alex Vane--a brilliant, fitness-obsessed reporter for The New York Standard--wants nothing more than to break into the flashy world of TV news. But when he uncovers the scoop of a lifetime, his tightly controlled world is rocked: his editor buries his story, a source turns up dead, and Alex finds himself at the center of a violent media conspiracy.

AS HE RECEIVES TIPS from a mysterious source, Alex enlists the help of a captivating professor, Camila Gray. Aided by an Internet genius, a billionaire's sexy widow, and a washed-up sports reporter, Alex and Camila discover a $500-million secret that could derail the largest media merger in history.

IT'S A SECRET THAT unearths dark memories from Alex's past. It's a secret that leads back to the morning of 9/11. And it's a secret that could get them both killed.

IN HIS DEBUT THRILLER, A.C. Fuller brings you a young journalist chasing the biggest story of his career--from the courtrooms of New York City to the beaches of Hawaii, from a crowded newsroom to a lavish boardroom at the top of a media empire.

And here's what some other people think about it:

"A keep reading until your eyes hurt book, each chapter more intriguing than the last...Elite Indie Reads anticipates that Fuller will soon be a household name."
-Elite Indie Reads

"The Anonymous Source evokes comparisons to John Grisham's finest--The Firm and The Pelican Brief--with a touch of Woodward and Bernstein's All the President's Men...A high-stakes, explosive debut novel from a talented new writer sure to do damage to the best-seller lists."
-Robert Dugoni, #1 Amazon and New York Times Bestselling Author of My Sister's Grave

"Read the literary equivalent of heroin."
-Josh, Amazon reviewer

"Fuller's writing is a pleasure to read and it's easy to get completely immersed in his prose. There were several times where I sat down for a few minutes to read a chapter and before I knew it I'd been sitting for over an hour."
-The Bibliophile Chronicles

"An ode to American news served just the way I like it--fast, bloody, and utterly righteous."
-Roger Hobbs, New York Times Bestselling Author of Ghostman

"A.C. Fuller's writing style is a joy to read. Not stiff in the slightest (as I sort of imagined--unfairly perhaps--was the norm for this genre), he layers in beautiful but spare detail, keeps the prose tight and the plot moving, without ever sacrificing style or voice or atmosphere..."
-Emma Scott, author of Rush, Love Beyond Words, Unbreakable, and How to Save a Life

"From the smoky streets of New York to Hawaiian paradise, Fuller's story takes us through the minds of a reporter, a grieving woman and a killer, daring us not to turn the page. As a reporter, I relished the chase. As a reader, I can't wait for more."
Julia Park Tracey, Author of Veronica Layne Gets the Scoop and Veronica Layne Has a Nose for News

Nation of Enemies A Thriller by H.A. Raynes
A thriller in the vein of Michael Crichton and James Rollins. In the near future of 2032, the United States is at civil war, the government pitted against domestic terrorists. By law, citizens wear biochips encrypted with medical information made public under the guise of protecting the innocent. Millions flee the country in search of safer shores. But most remain steadfast at home and an underground revolution begins as the country ramps up for the presidential election. Citizens are left to wonder if they should place their trust in the government who robbed them of their civil liberties, or in a terrorist bent on restoring them.

Gary Inbinder | 92 comments Pegasus Books is giving away 3 copies each of The Devil in Montmartre and The Hanged Man, the first two novels in my Inspector Lefebvre historical mystery series. The giveaway runs through June 15, 2016.

*Enter for your chance to win both novels in the Achille Lefebvre mystery series, set in Fin de Siècle Paris!*

In THE DEVIL IN MONTMARTRE, readers are introduced to Inspector Achille Lefebvre, who is a pioneer of new forensic techniques in nineteenth century Paris. He'll need all his tricks and cleverness to solve these two dastardly crimes: a murder at the 1889 Universal Exposition that might signal the arrival of Jack the Ripper in Paris; and an assassination plot that could spark a world war (THE HANGED MAN).
