Superheroes and Comic Book Club discussion

Came across this weird book last week - read it, and was blown away!

I read Archie on and off as a kid, enough to know the cast of characters. But I don't think you'd need that to enjoy this graphic novel.

The story starts with Jughead asking Sabrina the Teenage Witch to heal Hot Dog (his dog, of course) who was hit by a car. Neither she nor her aunts can - he's dead and too far gone. But, (view spoiler)[Sabrina sees how Jughead is hurting, and uses dark magicks to raise Hot Dog from the dead - but Hot Dog comes back as a zombie dog (hide spoiler)] and the story goes from there.

The art in this book was fantastic. And the writing was wonderful. I got chills and even teared up once or twice. I know that sounds weird, with an Archie comic, but I was really impressed.

In fact, I just downloaded the Archie comics app - and was surprised to see that for about $6 a month, they provide unlimited reading for a large chunk of comics.
