Richard sighed, running a hand along his face. He was playing "Never Have I Ever" with a group of strangers. They made sure to keep the game light with simple questions, sometimes dirty sometimes not. He sometimes laughed along, but only most of the time. Then a person entering the establishment caught his eye.

"Two glasses of rose wine." Isolde tells the bartender before turning to Marcus." Did you deliver the news?"
"Of course." Marcus says in a quite voice. "Also Why did you bring me along with and to drink? It's very peculiar. Did something happen?"
Richard smiled slightly. He recognized the man she was with as the spy from before. He frowned. They seemed a bit too friendly for that to be their relationship, per se. He turned back to his game, trying to ignore them. Besides, he was meant for revenge on the Resistance. He couldn't be distracted by this girl, no matter who she was. He rubbed his forehead and took a swig of his drink.

Isolde almost laughed." Yes, it seems Devon Nyx chose him to spy on me." She said drinking some wine. "What did you see him doing during the Council meeting?"
"Nothing except bore me. Though I think he spotted me"Marcus said.
Isolde laughed."You are Losing your game, Marcus, ever thought of retiring?" She said smiling. Marcus had always been like the brother she never had.
Richard took another drink, trying to ignore the fact that the woman who had recently kissed him, also the woman he was meant to spy on, was not too far behind him. "Never have I ever," he began, trying to think of something to say, "been shagged." Almost everyone took a drink.

She started laughing. She almost forgot the fact that she kissed him."Well he truly is a waste of good genes." She says trying to not look at Marcus or Richard.
Richard frowned. Isolde's words, he thought, should not affect me. But they did nevertheless. The fact this person who had seemed optimistic and said he wasn't something despicable seemed to have changed her beliefs, and that hurt him. He had believed it of himself for years after he had lost the boy he had been to revenge. But he did not like hearing this from someone else. He clenched his fists in his lap. He took a drink, not paying attention to what the person had said.

"Let him be. He deserves it." Isolde said her eyes narrowed. How dare he reject her after she opened up to him. She tried not to clench her jaw at the memory.
"Wait a second... Did he kiss you? No wait he's too prudish to kiss you...." Then his eyes widened." Wait did you kiss him?!" He laughed after she stood there with her lips thinned." Oh wow. Wait that must mean he rejected you! That's a first" he said laughing.
She punched him playfully in the arm. "When you lose your game, I'll be there waiting for you to sob." She says smirking.
"That will never happen , darling!" He says.
"We'll see about that." Isolde said talking a drink.
Richard decided that it would be good for him if he stopped listening to Isolde and her -- whatever that man was to her. He heard the pair talk about him in such a negative manner for a moment longer before getting up and walking over. "I did not expect you would gossip." It was statement, and it was rather flat. His leaving had not been because of her at all; it had been because of him and his own downtrodden soul.

Richard narrowed his eyes, and he was very aware that he was drunk. He heard Isolde's words, and it was like a dagger plunged into his heart. Despite his pessimism, Isolde's earlier words had given a little home for his immortal soul. There was a nauseous sensation in his stomach, and his lips trembled as he turned away from Isolde. "Nevermind," he hissed, walking away from Isolde.

Richard was sitting just outside the club, his face covered with just one hand. He swore under his breath at himself. He decided he needed to stop caring about things -- life, himself, people -- and just work on taking down the Resistance. Wasn't it the only thing he was good for, after all?
The floors are of dark, almost black, hardwood, and the walls are black stone. The lighting is done in rainbow colors. The music is jazz and played at a lower volume from speakers located throughout.
All the furniture is dark, and the seating is all plush and leather. There is seating on both sides of a large dance floor and a bar along one side. Only the best alcohols and hors d'oeuvres are served.
Roleplay!
((Is this good, Elena?))
