Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

Hello all, I just released my novella "And With the Shadow People Be" (http://t.co/T3G7oii2Z1) as a companion reader to my traditionally published novel that came out late last year (The Clearing). The novella is designed to give potential readers an inexpensive route into the story featured in the novel, while delivering a complete tale in its own right.
Has anyone had success doing this? I'd love to hear about your experience if you have!
