Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

Thank goodness for people who shelve books before they even come out! For Angels I'll read Archangel's War, which comes out on Tuesday and has already been shelved by 28 people.For Free Space, I'll go with The Beast in Him, which is book 2 in the Pride series, which is #49 on the PNR series list.

Thank you for volunteering as tribute! I've played multiple times before, but I've never captained. For some reason captaining this one scares me. :)

I was a bit scared my first time too, but it’s really not bad. You just have to stay on top of everything.
The only tricky thing is linking the reviews, and once you've done it once, its a piece of cake.

Dragon Actually
Action packed and steaming hot is what this book is. Not to mention hilarious as well. I had a really good time with this story plus the added bonus of Feargus’ parent’s story. It was good to see how things started.
All in all an excellent start to the series. So good I wound up buying book 2 before I even finished the first.
I’m going to switch out my Free Space book. The In Death Series has been mentioned in the audiobook thread, and I’m reading Vendetta in Death for several challenges.

Review:
I was a little bit disappointed in this one. The characters felt a little flat, there was absolutely no Summerset, and the killer was revealed pretty early on. We weren't just along with Eve for the "figure out how they did it" ride, but we knew for sure, while she was still going with her hunch.
Even Roarke, one of my favorite book boyfriends of all time was not at his all time best in this book. :(

Wow... Just Wow!
So I’ve seen this book on many a TBR list and have had it pop up as a recommended read many a time, so I finally decided to check it out and see what all the hype was about. And the masses were all quite accurate in their judgement. I have seen the hype and have come to the realization that it is the absolute TRUTH!
With all the action and mystery and literal laugh out loud moments (and there are lots), I could barely put this one down! Sleep was lost and eyes were glued to my kindle with absolutely zero complaints from my corner. This is definitely one of those series' (is that correct?) that had me buying the next with no hesitation. I purchased books 2 and 3 when I was maybe 25% in. It’s that good. I’ve never had an author get me to that point with less than an entire book before. That’s amazing.
I’m super eager to learn how Charley deals with what she’s learned and what’s to come. I haven’t done my research yet, but I’m hoping this is a long running series so I can lose myself in more of Charley’s shenanigans.

Review:
What a fabulous ending to a great story arc! Too often, no matter how much build up to a war/battle a series has, the actual battle is glossed over. Not here. There was a really nice balance of everyday life and battle (not side-by-side, but throughout the book!).
I really hope this isn't it for the Guild Hunters world. There are so may stories yet to learn. And 2 of Raphael's Seven still haven't found their mates!
Not sure yet what I'm going to read for Vampires.

This follows straight on from the end of book 3 and I have to admit I expected better. Elena is now a vampire and has joined forces with Damon and Stefan to overcome the Other Power. Bonnie is learning to embrace her psychic abilities while the trio find allies in unlikely places. Not sure how they managed a fourth book as this instalment had a definite end point. So we’ll see.

Amaury’s Hellion
This one was filled with action, snark, and soo much steam and tension. It was very well written and the characters were believable. It was very easy to put myself in their places.
I really enjoyed reading Amaury and Nina’s story and will continue making my way through the rest of the series.

This is the 2nd in the Innkeeper Chronicles and I enjoyed it immensely. It amazes me how this writing team continue to come up with new worlds and resulting new characters. Dina and her inn are playing host to an arbitration between 3 warring factions. The challenges she encounters and how she overcame them are amusing especially as she is trying to increase the magic of the inn as well as her rating. My favourite character of this series has to be Orro, can’t wait to read some more

This was a great start to what promises to be an awesome series. Krista is a highly empathic teenager who dreams each night of your true mate. When she starts school in Santa Cruz she comes face to face with the man of her dreams. As they explore the connection between them they discover there are others like them. Hopefully the next in the series will be just as good.
