Class of 2015 discussion

"I want to live. Fighting with every, every ounce of reserve I had left, the light got brighter." The Raft by S.A. Bodeen is about a young girl named Robie who is struggling to survive on a raft, after her plane lands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I personally think this book is really interesting because it describes difficult situations I couldn't imagine myself being in. I recommend this book to boys and girls of the ages 12 and up. Other books by S.A. Bodeen are The Compound and The Fallout. Do you think you could survive in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with one other person, a bag of skittles, and no water?
