Skulduggery Pleasant question

i dont think they should get together beacuse after gordon died twice skulduggery was like a uncle or even a father figure to val and it would be just wrong to ship thm together but i wouldnt mind china and skulduggery but deffinatley not 'valduggery'

I say no, Skulduggery is a 600 or so old skeletton who took Valkyrie under his wings when she was just 12 years old, his more a father figure for Valkyrie then a lover....this would be weird....

No i personally think that Skulduggery is more of a father figure to Val, not a romantic relationship. Well a kind of father figure anyway lol.

i want them to date sooo bad! I know its bad for dating a 444 year old man but... Valkyrie did date a 100+ year old. And China said that Skul and Val would be great together. I'm just getting the facts out and as well as that in Bedlam you never know what Skulduggery's secret was when the went ot get information to go to the asylum so.. i wonder what that was...

Hello, sorry for by english. I’m italian. I love the idea of skul and val together... I’m reading Death Bringer and when she leaves Fletcher, Val describes the person she would like to fall in love with ... and for me the description reflects Skul

My perception of the Skulduggery/Valkyrie relationship shifted hugely after discovering that Skulduggery is still actually a very handsome young man around Valkyrie's age (appearance wise) just in the form of a skeleton. Before that I always imagined him as a father figure but I think that, during one of the final chapters in Resurrection, Valkyrie confessing that she loves him while he's holding a gun to her head, Valkyrie expressing her shame in that confession beforehand... Preeeetty much summed it up for me. And of course Skulduggery's love for Valkyrie was enough to wrench him right out from being under Smokes' freshly restored influence. All he needed was a confession... His aura then burned a brighter red than Valkyrie had ever seen, before admitting "I love you, too" to Valkyrie, and reverting back to his old self. Fatherly/daughterly love? I dunno. I'm still yet to read Midnight.

I think that if they'd met under different circumstances and Valkyrie had been older - I could see it happening.

But given the weird guardian/ward relationship that is present at the beginning of their relationship, it'd be too odd.

For me I would say I agree with @Safia. Skulduggery is cool skeleton man but I'm still rooting for team Valkyrie Cain-Fletcher Renn. So sorry.
