Hello! I am Steve from just outside of Hamilton, Ontario! We just moved here a couple of weeks ago and now that we're settled in, I've really started writing more often (2 short books published!) while continuously updating the blog itself!

Just joined this group a couple of days ago but really happy to see so much interaction across these discussion topics! Nice to "meet" fellow writers too (first time I've called myself a writer so that felt weird, haha)

Hello writers. I'm Wanjiru (pronounced One-jee-row). I was born and raised in Kenya, but have lived in California for most of my adult life - 35 years. Before I became a writer, my dream was to travel to the seven continents. Traversing the continents is about the best gift I have given myself.

I write narrative nonfiction. My writing straddles Kenya and the United States, at least the first three books. The next three (a trilogy) covering a century, will wholly be based in Kenya.

It's a pleasure to be in such a diverse group. Wish you much success.
