Very thoroughly, I'm guessing...

Jenny | 8052 comments I think I need a special drool cloth to keep near my computer. I suppose I could just drool onto my shirt, and come up with a plausible explanation if a customer notices it, but...

Oh yeah... I am a certified tester after all... need to do a lot of quality checks to make sure standards are met

message 355: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments Lol Jenny, just don't short out your keyboard! ;)

Quality control is very, very important Sonia. How very selfless of you to be willing to take on that burden.

I'm off to get cozy with Mr, King (he however, can keep all his clothes on!), enjoy the rest of your day/evening peoples :)

Jenny | 8052 comments I am several hours into the audio for Don Quixote, and wow am I liking this. I read it in high school, and have forgotten most of it since.
Yay for looooong, good books!

Steven (gallifreyan1218) | 5272 comments Oh remember, I made multiple clones of the Chris Squad. I’ve got two in my kitchen cleaning and one is here rubbing my legs while I read. There’s a fourth upstairs getting the bedroom ready. For, um, reading party. Yeah. Lots of really hardcore reading fun.

message 359: by Jenny (new)

Haha.

Also the book I’m reading has used the word defenestration at least 5 times in chapter 2.

message 363: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments Wow. Did anyone bounce? Had they seen the bubble wrap demonstration?

message 364: by Judith (new)

Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
I’m pretty confident it’s a no on the bubble wrap. Pretty sure that didn’t exist in 1833.

message 365: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments Could've, if there was a time machine involved. You never know.

message 366: by Judith (new)

Judith (brownie72011) | 7435 comments Mod
Valid point, I will keep an open mind as I continue to read the book.

message 367: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments I so hope Doctor Who shows up in your book, having just boxed up a bunch of Christmas presents for shipping.

That's what I do everyday... because they let me assemble the avengers without much of a fight!

On my head, of course... gotta keep my IdoitbecauseIcan reputation intact..

Jenny | 8052 comments Steven, if Clue is your favorite movie, have you heard of this book that is coming out today? In the Hall with the Knife (Clue Mystery, #1) by Diana Peterfreund
I have read her sci-fi stuff, and really liked it.

message 378: by Steven (new)

Steven (gallifreyan1218) | 5272 comments $11 for the Kindle version and $17 for the physical. :(

message 379: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8052 comments You can totally have it now. Run to your bookstore, and pound on the door if they are not yet open. I am picking it up tonight after work. Along with the new Richard Dawkins book, the new Philip Pullman book, the new Neil deGrasse Tyson book, and something called The Grace Year, which is getting very good reviews. If only I never had to sleep...

A very important warning.

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments My sister has a copy on her bookshelf. I looked at it under three different lights. Stupid book. Back cover is baby blue but the front is a bluish silver that seems both Grey and blue.
