Yeah that lingering cold did not want to go away. But i'm feeling much better and my latest books have turned out to be very interesting. Have a couple lined up that may fit Sin Bingo.

Christina (chrissy__) | 3008 comments I'm trying my best to also finish a third book this week - Undead Girl Gang since I realized earlier today it has puffer fish in it! (instead of Save The Date which is so short I obviously would have been able to finish it but I guess I'll do that next week)

Ashley (itsmedaisy) | 279 comments I'm going to try to get to a third book this week also! Almost done with Ninth House

Hi Kinga! Your first book doesn't count because it was not reported during week 2.

For your second book which was read in week 3, please add it to the reporting thread

Thank you 😊

Maritza (spanishwhispers) | 2241 comments Thanks for updating my book. But I changed to cover Brown because I think we get more points.

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments Maritza wrote: "Thanks for updating my book. But I changed to cover Brown because I think we get more points."

I looked in the BOM thread but I didn't see that they made any official "this is what we are doing with this book" convos. If they went with brown that works :D

Christina (chrissy__) | 3008 comments Maritza wrote: "Thanks for updating my book. But I changed to cover Brown because I think we get more points."

I just added my finished book too and checked the link to your Save The Date edition - and... it doesn't look brown to me at all? that's probably why it had been changed before 🙈 unless you read a copy that actually had a brown cover?

Did the mods make an official "this is what we are using for this book" statement?

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments Lol, well I think I will see if I can get a ruling then 🧐

message 522: by Maritza (new)

Maritza (spanishwhispers) | 2241 comments I see some other teams shelve it as brown but I don't know if it was approved or assumed.

message 523: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments Also, were there an animals in Save the Date? Thanks! 🙂

message 524: by Christina (last edited Oct 25, 2019 06:29PM) (new)

Christina (chrissy__) | 3008 comments I guess it's just because we're not supposed to use tineye anymore and it's not like obviously brown? like it is brown according to tineye, but tineye is just.... a mess lol

message 525: by Christina (new)

Christina (chrissy__) | 3008 comments ok I guess it looks kinda brown but I never would have thought of reporting it as that? x)

message 526: by Maritza (new)

Maritza (spanishwhispers) | 2241 comments No animals in the boom Minx.

message 527: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments Maritza wrote: "No animals in the boom Minx."

lol, ok. So with the book cover, it doesn't look brown to me BUT I would love it if it had an official ruling of brown because then we could use it that way. I will wait to see what some of the Captains think but I don't feel comfortable going with brown if there is not a consensus. There have been book challenges occurring and I don't want to be fined - even if other players shelved it as such - because they could be the reason their team is fined. I am just being cautious. I will let you know what comes of this :D

I will admit to missing tineye, it made things more definite but we are able to use more books without it...sooooo....yeah....

message 529: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments Hey May, is the version of Ragdoll that you have shelved the one that you read? If so, that cover is not blue and I will have to change it to the Genre of Contemporary. If you read the blue covered version then you are going to have to change the book edition and shelve that version.

Let me know, okay? Thanks!

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments GUESS WHAT???

Ok my lovelies, we have another mini-challenge heading our way. Here are the details:

Wrath Mini Challenge

I know all the information (under the spoiler) might make your eyes go cross BUT Shelby and I will present you an organized spreadsheet will all the details.

One caveat for this challenge is MPG (Main page genre) means that when you are looking at the edition you plan to read the genre is indicated on the main page NOT the top shelves. If you have any questions on this, please let me know :D

Basically once we have that spreadsheet up and going you will just claim your task and read for it.

When you report the book you will indicate the task in the justification section with any justification necessary.

I will give an example for a book I plan to read.

Into the Dark by Karen Rose

Task: Read a book with MPG Crime, Mystery, Thriller, or Suspense that is 500 or more pages.

This book is MPG Mystery and is 608 pages.

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments @Martiza @Christina can you check your Save the Date books (assuming you have kindle versions and can search) can you looks for ducks.

There is a part being reported as

"ethically sourced, hand-fed organic ducks, though"

and as long as they are talking about the actual animals (even ones being served as food) we could use this for the mini-challenge. That way one of your books could be used for the mini-challenge but the other one
will have to be used as Genre Contemporary as Cover Color Brown is not going to work.

Edit: Now that I am thinking about it a duck in pieces is not an actual duck and that could be challenged. lol, sorry. Maritza I am going to update your to genre Contemporary.

message 532: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Reads (minxreadsalot) | 2485 comments @Christina, for your Undead Girl Gang book I don't think we can use it for Puffer Fish because according to the rules it has to be the actual animal and this indicates just the poison from the puffer fish.

So I am going to switch it to Sloth Cover Color Blue which is the same point wise, so its all good :D

Sophie | 182 comments This week I was reading mostly classics and nonfiction books so I'm happy to say I just finished my 3rd book of the week! I was getting a little nervous about that but it was a great reading week. Maybe I'll be able to finish another one or two (I think so!) but at least I met my requirement :D

Hi Minx, I'm sorry! The screen on the iPad I was using made the cover look blue behind the text, that's my bad.

I loved it! Henry Tilney is so wonderful and Catherine is so sweet. Isabella was SO irritating tho, I dreaded every scene with her "my sweet creature." Pffft. How about you?
