Hey everyone! So this is a crazy holiday type week and I know it has everyone off their game. Obviously read what you can, but if you have any outstanding books you haven't reported for the week or can fit one more in that would be super helpful. We still need 6 books reported to hit the minimum quota for the week. :)

@mama Not personal shelved as favorites I was talking about the books I personally have.

Follow the second link I listed. When everyone signed up for this challenge we all listed our two favorite books. The mods complied the list and those are the books that we can read for the last 2 weeks of the challenge for 7 points a book. So you can read off those recommendations or a book you have 😍

I'm in the same boat as Sophie with grad school, I put all of these papers off until the last second and then also Thanksgiving stuff last weekend, and now work, but I will definitely be able to finish my 2-3 books, hoping to fit a few extras in as soon as this is over!

Just do the best you can. Real life always trumps book challenges in my book. 😍

I finally picked Wilder Girls up again after only reading two chapters in October. I still feel bad for not being able to get into it for the bom discussion; maybe I should have just given it another chance back then, but I mentally couldn't. I'll try to finish it by the end of the challenge for sin bingo though!

it's alright I suppose. the writing style just puts me off every time I pick it up and I apparently need to read more than two chapters at once to get over it. we'll see how I do with it next time I pick it up.

I generally don't like DNFing books, especially if I haven't given it a real chance yet. so I hope at some point I will finish all my started books lol.

I hear that. I am the same. There have only been a few books in my life that I never truly finished. :D

Im also trying to read Wilder Girls but its going slow and also started The Kiss Quotient, that is much better.

Hey Jan, your Neverwhere book is blue cover and tagged as Dark Fantasy (131 people) and you added it to your TBR on July 19, 2017 which makes this book a Sin Bingo. Just letting you know why I am changing it to a bingo :D

can anybody (or as many of you as possible so I have more books to choose from lol) recommend a book written by an author from Asia, Africa, or South America? I thought I could listen to the audiobook of Pachinko for this popsugar prompt but it's 18+ hours long and I don't want to commit to it with ttvii only going for one more week :/ (plus, the default version is 496 pages long, so 4 pages short of more points for us)

Sophie, what did you think of Forbidden? It's been on my tbr since I've heard it mentioned in several videos from one of favourite booktubers. I don't know how I feel about the concept, but I'm still intrigued...

Christina, I actually think the topic was handled decently well but the writing wasn't great and I feel like I still couldn't really get over the topic enough, so I ended up rating it 3 stars!

Only got two books done this week :( I am going to start Ninth House today and try to get it done this week for the BOM points!

Quick update my lovelies on this our last week of the challenge...I just updated our read books so far and we're doing great. :) We're 5 books away from meeting our minimum goal. We've hit it every week and I'm sure we'll do so again on this last week.

I have 2 books I’m just about done with and I can squeeze in one more 🙃
