The Catholic Book Club discussion

In yet another tight contest, we have a tie for the first place in this voting: The Return of the Prodigal Son: A Story of Homecoming by Henri J.M. Nouwen and The Everlasting Man by G.K. Chesterton, both of which received six votes. The randomizer decided the order in which we are going to read them: "The Everlasting Man" will be our book for October, and "The Return of the Prodigal Son" will be the book for November.

The closest books were The Ascent of Mount Carmel and Bearing False Witness, with 4 votes each, followed by "Out of the Ashes" and "Four Witnesses" with 3. All the other books received one or two votes, which means that no book will be removed from the nominations list next month.

The two new books on the list next month, to replace the two books selected, will be Deliver Us From Evil by Tom Dooley, nominated by Manuel, and Bodies and Souls by Maxence van der Meersch, nominated by Fonch (this book may be hard to find).
