Hi Jane! :D

Hi, Catherine !
By the end of this challenge, I might as well be added to the fan base ! :)
*kidding*"
Haha!! I'm no celebrity! I had no idea!! I have fans?!?!
Trinity - thanks for sorting the link for me!
I'm working a 12 hour shift today and then tomorrow will be spent doing chores round the house/sleeping in a heap somewhere.

Today I'm going with my husb to a park in the city, to enjoy a little break from the rain. But tomorrow I'll probably cozy inside home and read a lot. :)
Good weekend to all. :D

Oh that sounds like a lot of fun, have a good weekend to you too Juliana! ☺

Has anyone thinking about join a Buddy Read during the Challenge? I'm going to try it out, and I was thinking and ask for those who will to tell me what book and date so I can track it for count their points.
So, if you'd like to participate in a buddy read, here is a master thread where the next are being record and request are being discussed.
And, if you enter any, please let me know.
A lovely Sunday to all!

I'm going to try and read Crime and Punishment on the 12th of November if I manage to get a copy of the right translation.

I will see what other buddy reads pops up and see if i can join. My access to books in English is somewhat limited and i getting a specific title quicly is rarely possible.
I have Ready Player One and Big Little Lies on hold and maybe i will get them in time. Or i will pop up later and hope someone join me.

Lets have fun during the challenge.

Fit's guessing. I would guess mid-nov, but honestly, i do not know. When i see them coming, i put a hold and suspend it but not in this case. :)
As i said, go ahead and set a date and i will make it sonner or later. :)

The extra hour today has been wonderful! Yesterday was hectic, and not helped by scratching my car on the way home. Everyone else's weekends sound nicely relaxed.
Lilac - enjoy half term!
Buddy reads I'll join in as and when. Frustrated because I've read 2 of the BOMs already for this month. Will try to join in the questions and conversations anyway.

You're welcome to join in the conversations. We often have people stop by who have already read the book and offer their comments. They typically just stay away from questions asking predictions for the rest of the book since they've already read it. The more the merrier with BOM's :)

Sorry I don't do buddy reads but I will make sure I read a lot and have fun.

But where does each one of you dwell ?
I am in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (East Coast - US) as of now.

I plan to participate in buddy read but didn't decided which one yet. At the beginning in this challenge I will also participate in some speedy version of bingo so expect me to read a lot of short books. But when it's over I am going to check out buddy reads and read some chunksters I saved for this challenge. :)
Obviously I'm from Europe. Small country called Serbia. Probably most of you didn't even heard about it. Although lately in movies it's a trend to have Serbian not Russian mobsters, so maybe you did. :D
Thanks Kelly.
I always get confused by the fact that most of the clocks change automatically and when I look in the morning it seems like either I've woken up a lot early or a lot later than normal (depending on whether it's autumn or spring).
I live in London. Brazil to Oslo seems like a very long way to have moved Juliana.

@ Juliana, yes I was quite impressed with you as I saw that on your currently reading there is a Spanish, a Norweigian, and an English book. I have also travelled in Brazil but that was 25 years ago.
@ Lilac. No, no, no how can anybody forget Wales. Loooooong words that are unpronounceable and then my mother in law is from Wales and lives in England close to the border. And I of course love your Welch dragon.
@ Dragana. Being from Europe I know of Serbia of course but I know nothing about it.

I am in Quebec City.
@Dragana, i worked in Serbia for a few months, years ago. So i know it.
@Lilac, what a name! You made me google it. Et courage pour le Harry Potter.

@Jane No biggie. Ask if you are interested in anything. :)
@Esther What a coincidence. What did you do? If it's not as super secret agent and you can't tell us. :D
We seem to be all over the place. It's going to make interesting discussions. :)
I've got an idea. To get to know each other countries, maybe we could ask a question about something and then the rest of us would answer. For example - specific sweets, food, sights or whatever you think that it's interesting in your country.
I think that could be interesting. :)

I think that's a really good idea Dragana, they'd be fun to answer and interesting to learn more about the other countries.

@Dragana...I know wheere Serbia is..approximately....it gets confusing ove there in easten Europe!

LOL Nothing that glamorous. It was a student summer job. I worked at Petnica Science center.
As for questions... Ask away...

It's a small world (or small country lol). I worked at Petnica as a lecturer on some IT courses. :)
Sadly, I worked with teachers (educating old teachers how to use computers) not with teens. Still it was fun.
I hope you had a nice time while you were there. :)

@Sophie yes indeed, it was a huge change moving to Norway.
So @Jane we do are practically neighbors. :)
I can read in Portuguese and English and I'm trying to learn Norwegian - that's why sometimes a children book in Norwegian appears in my feed.
Also, the idea to exchange informations about our countries is pretty good!
In Brazil we generally like our candies very sweet and we love chocolate so our traditional candy for children birthday parties are 'brigadeiro' - a cooked mixture of chocolate/cocoa powder, butter and condensate milk. I love it!!

Uhn... Just thinking about it made want to bake some.

But where does each one of you dwell ?

I'm 4.5 hours north of you in Mt. Upton, NY

Here its go Sophie...

And if someone wants to try to make it, here (How to Make Brigadeiro) is a post with a video in English teaching how to make two versions.
Enjoy!
