SciFi and Fantasy Book Club discussion

I could have sworn that I saw something about a new Maze Runner prequel coming out. I think it was called The Fever Code. I can't find where I saw it, though. Does anyone have any info about it? Thanks.

Didnt know there was a maze runner book, i take it the film was based on it?
Would you recommend it? I wqs going to watch the film, but i think i'll hold off if the book is great.

I'm reading it right now. It's an easy read so far. Not a big book.

How is the book compared to the movie? I haven't read the book yet, and I was wondering how similar they are.

I haven't seen the movie but the book was good. After the first the quality declines but the first one I would recommend.

Per Wikipedia:
Of the novel, Dashner said that he always wanted to write about how the rest of the Gladers got to the maze and what they did before Thomas entered the box,[1] therefore the book is set in a time before The Maze Runner and after The Kill Order.
Should be out this year.

The book is better, as usual, Rick. It's actually a trilogy of books with a prequel story featuring different characters. I did enjoy the movie and I will go see The Scorch Trials (2nd book) when it comes out.
