Isis walked into the library she had an assignment on her favourite subject. Mathematics she wanted to work in her dads company on tech one day. She smiled as she looked for a bench to sit.

Russ looked up to find that a girl had entered the library. Always the lady's man, he waved at her, gesturing for her to sit near him. "Don't worry. I don't bite!" he laughed.

Isis eyed the boy up and down then shrugged, he sounded fun though she didn't need fun now just study but she took the chance. "Sure, you look new." She said as she sat down next to him, laying her books on the table.

"I'm Russ," he said. He gave her a wink. "So, what grade are you in?" Russ was really needed a friend at this new school. "I don't know anyone. I just came for the scholarship."

"Uh, well am Isis." She said formally giving him her hand for a shake. "No am not on scholarship, am in the 12 grade. Stylus ting something?"

"I am a freshman," he said. "I know, I know, my amazing good looks and muscles may have fooled you." He smiled. He liked joking with people. The fact that she was a senior shot down any chances he had at dating her, but he could at least be the funny friend.

((I just remember she's a junior))

Isis didn't want to smile but one was already creeping up her face. "A freshman uh, how's high school?" She said opening her book to the right page.

"Meh," Russ said. "So, I'm guessing you are better at math than I am. Everyone is. I need a little help with this assignment. I don't understand geometry. I guess I'm not really 'elite'." Russ felt great confessing that.

Isis sighed she didn't think that people couldn't be good at maths, it's just lack of concentration. "The only thing you lack is concentration. Wait how many times have you even tried to solve this?" She said raising her brow at him.

"Well, I mean, do you mean before or after I was reading this?" Russ asked, pulling out his graphic novel. He smiled at Isis. He knew she would disapprove of his antics.

Isis huffed "And you wonder why you don't understand. Seems to me you're not ready to learn." She said folding her hands disapproving.

Russ shrugged. He had suspected kids at his new school would be like that. "I am ready to learn," he said. "Just not right now." He looked at Isis and grinned. "You know, I'll study," he promised. He spent a minute working on the sheet and smiled to himself. "Done!" he said. "Now, let me ask, why are you here?"

Isis looked in horror at what he done, knowing his workings were all wrong she breathed deeply trying to stop her hand from grabbing his paper to correct everything. She tossed her hair feeling proud as she prepared to answer his question "one day I'll own the world largest company that's if I succeed in making my dads company the world largest." She said narrowing her eyes "and I know I'll succeed okay, am smart and pretty." She smiled.

"I don't doubt that," Russ said. He winked at Isis. His rushed worked was shoved back into his folder. "Now, may I ask you a question?"

She smiled at him at his words liking him already "depends." She said quirking a brow.

"If a ninth grader was very sweet and charming, would you go out to lunch with him?" Nailed it!, thought Russ as he combed his fingers through his hair. He threw another playful wink.

Isis knew what he was doing, he was playful but he wasn't even going to go there. "Who says I think you're charming and playful. Am sure a sixth grader is out there for you, someday perhaps." She said teasing him.

Russ smiled. "It depends," he responded. "Is this sixth grader cute?" Of course he was just joking. Russ had only really had two girlfriends. He wasn't really a player.

"Seriously a sixth grader! I think you should be wondering if you're cute enough."

"I am not cute!" Russ replied, pretending to be offended. "I am hot!" Russ smiled. He looked at his math worksheet again. "I am a hot mess!"

"If you meant hot mess then yes, don't worry you have a potential to be hot. If you become one call me." She said smiling at him.

"In order to do that, I'll need your number," Russ said. Nice one!, he thought to himself.

She smiled liking the way he was quickly catching up. "Smart, I guess I got myself into this." She said bringing out a pen to scribble her number in his mats book. "Don't give it out."

"And let the other guys have a shot?" he laughed. "No way!" He smiled at her again.

"My break is almost over, I think we'll be seeing each other pretty soon." She said getting up "nice to meet you and wasting my time."

He walked out with her. Smiling all the while. Even if he didn't really get any school work done, he got a girl's number.

Elizabeth walked in quietly. She slowly sat down next to an intriguing book,picking it up. She thought the library was a place to think,but was she wrong?

Jack walked in and looked around. He needed to get some pictures for his photography class. He walked around the library and looked for something to take a picture of.

Elizabeth,now fed up,walked towards the 'YA' book section,hoping to find a good book.

Jack wasnt paying attention to where he was going and ran into someone. "Sorry." He mumbled quietly since they were in a library.

Elizabeth realises she'd just bashed into someone. "Oh,sorry" she exclaimed.

Jack shook his head. "No. It was my fault. I wasnt paying attention to where i was going." He said with a shrug.

She shook her head repeatedly "No,I'm sure it was my fault too after all I am very clumsy."

"How about its both our faults?" He said so they didnt have to keep bantering about it. He laughed a tiny.

"Yes,that's fine with me." She giggled.

Elizabeth walked into the library eager to find a book that would finally end her pain for the day. She strolled through the aisles in search for a book.

Isadora peered at the newcomer. "Who are you?" She asked a bit brusquely.

Elizabeth looked confused and shook her head at the rudeness of the girl."umm..I'm Elizabeth Hardey,I don't think we've officially met."

Isa looked at her. "Hm. I'm Isadora L. Sinclair." She told Elizabeth,"But call me Isa. Isadora is an awful mouthful."

Elizabeth stared at the girl in front of her. "Well,It's nice meeting you..Isa.My friends call me Beth or Liz,depends on their mood."

"Well, Liz," Isa began,"What are you looking for? Our librarian is currently in town."

"Oh,I was just looking for a book to read. Do you know a good ones?" She asked.

"Harry Potter. Obviously." She shrugged. "Or I Am Malala."

Adalynn steps into the library quietly and looks for the librarian.

Margaret was sitting in her chair, petting her cat Zola, and obliviously ignoring the fact that cat hair was being shed all over her silk cigarette pants.

((Ew what a nightmare. I'm allergic lol))

Adalynn clears her throat quietly as she approaches her desk,"pardon me?"

Margaret stood up, Zola leaping off indignantly with a hiss. "Yes?" She said stiffly, adjusting her blouse. "May I help you with anything today?"

"Yes actually of I could bother you with helping me find a few books for my class."

"Of course!" Margaret smiled,"Let's see....Etiquette In The Victorian Era, no.... But how about Miss Emily Post's classic book re-invented for this era?"

"Beautiful." She nods,"that will do well. Do you have anything that may work for the young men? I'm thinking something about hygiene."
