Kristen | 0 comments I believe I recall a few people saying they had picked up the book? I am having a hard time getting into it. I feel like the author gets me at certain points, but then loses me too. Anyone else noticing that?

Abby I just re-found the book. I'll get started on it and get back to you.

Hillary (hillarydm) | 13 comments I had forgotten about that book! I've read several foodie-type books but not that one. I'll see if I can get it from the library and let you know what I think.

Rachel Mavity | 3 comments I also finished the book over the weekend. I found it very interesting. I had never heard of Polyface farm, but that part and the part about following the corn and the hunted-gathered meal were the best parts. some of it definitely was a little slow but overall i loved it! It's just great knowledge to have when you're tooling down the aisles of the grocery store.

Kristen | 0 comments I'm chugging along still (I have about 3 books going at once which is really unlike me!). Good point about fast food nation! I was wondering why nothing in the industrial section seemed all that new and exciting! I am just starting the hunter-gatherer section, but I liked the part about polyface farm. It makes me sad that I dont have any place like that (that I know of) around here!
