EVENTS:
✨Last for a week long
✨Can have crashers
Messages Need To Have:
✨Events that just happened
✨Future events that will happen
✨Big things that happened
✨Polite reminder to be active

Also, on the subject of events, I think we need to consider the length of our events. They usually end very quickly, and people don't notice because we send out the notifications for the events in newsletters. I think we should start sending out separate emails at the start of the event, and maybe halfway through them.

•start school // marthie•message // angel
•new mod by 1/18/16 // all•refresh appearance // avery + alex
•clubs // marthie
•legacies // angel•remove claims from ex-members // angel + fiend
•delete brookhaven // marthie
•move + delete archive topics // avery + alex
Haven't posted in this since 2015... anyway, how In Scream Queens, someone live tweets their own death? What if that happened at Vanderbilt?
Hey! So, this group has been around for a while. I first joined in November 2014, I think, so that's almost two years ago, wow. But lots have joined, been active, then gone inactive. That's why I'm thinking we need to do an audit.
In the audit, basically, we will make an announcement saying that members have to post each of their characters (their name, house, position in clubs, and face) following a small template, and if they don't, then they'll loose their characters and faces. No one can keep a face they haven't used yet, though once they make a character with a new face, then they can claim it. Maybe people only have two weeks to complete a character with a reserved face, too, so we can keep it cleaner. I can be in charge of that if we want.
Also, we could possibly separate students into threads by houses, so there aren't so many characters in a single thread? I don't know. But I feel his this is necessary to keep this group active and clean.
Hm, sounds good to me! :) Anything important happen? Sorry for the inactivity!
tysm! i'll send a message informing everybody of the changes :) think I'll get rid of a few characters myself!
just realized this group has been around for 2-ish years- it may be pretty messy and dead, but wow!
I know! this was one of the first groups I joined, back in November 2014, and I'm so glad it's still around! it could use some more activity and definitely a good clean out, but luckily, that's happening!
i think we should delete some dorms- i can do that rn!

dorms! I'll delete most of them.
dorms! I'll delete most of them.
wait did the other mods delete themselves or what
should we delete travel + post grad folders/topics?
we can archive them and if people really want them for whatever reason then we can un-archive them.
should we make the group public? I had it private for plagirisation concerns, but that was a year ago.
Should we raise or get rid of the teacher claim limit? I personally think we could raise it by one or two, but getting rid of it might be... disastrous
I think we should raise it. I don't think anybody will want to make 293103 teachers, but 4 or 5 per person should be plenty, plus I'm sure we could always make up more positions if the demand gets extremely high among a ton of people.
So for setting a price for Vanderbilt... we know it’s super elite so that means the student body would be very small (200/300-ish max) compared to a place like Institut le Rosey where if you can pay, you usually get in. So I’m thinking 300k? Because Vanderbilt would have top of the line everything, employees well paid, maintaining the palace, etc.
okay! let’s set the max at five then.
I think that sounds good! And also, should we maybe make the number of scholarship students more solid? Because Eva said like 1 in 10 so that would be 20-30 (which is a ton of money with the tuition so high), and it might be good to have a solid number on that.
ok! yeah, we said it was super rare to have a scholarship student, which i think deters people from making them often. the 1:10 ratio is why she’s so mad. but i don’t think we need to regulate the number of ppl creating scholarship students rlly if that makes sense
yeah no i get that! i was just wondering about that since she said 1:10, and we had always said it was super rare in the past. it's not like we have a whole ton anyway, and i don't wanna limit people to creating the chars they want to make, of course
ohhh, the 1:10 ratio was just something i made up haha
I think we need to come up with a system for the creation of royal characters. Not like a claim really, but dual-approval process. Someone has created the Princess of Lichenstein & I think we need both Mods to approve the creation of a new royal character. I want having a Princess/Prince to a privilege, you feel?
ok! Should I add it to the rules or character template as a requirement?
