Great, thank you! And you're also Aussie! You're welcome to take a look at my new novels! One takes place in ancient Rome.

Jonny | 283 comments Welome to the group Elyse, I'm slowly working my way back into Roman history, although I'm a not fan of Simon Scarrow's Macro and Cato titles (about the only fiction I read these days).

Hi, thank you for your message! I like Scarrow's books, but I find I prefer Thomas M.D. Brooke who wrote "Roman Mask", the story of Armenius' betrayal from the Roman perspective. While I've not yet read his other books, that one is well written! I also like the books by Paul Maier, a bit older than these ones, especially his "The Flames of Rome".

Tomas Barba (tomasbarba) | 1 comments So glad I found this site.
I have been researching and writing a series of novels set during the Later Roman Empire.
Do I have anything published? Nope, I took them all down.
Why? My command of grammar is E-trocious. So is my spelling.
However, I am getting close to self-publishing the first of my ten book series following the career of Alaric.
Of course I devour Roman history and Roman Historical Fiction. So, I am always on the lookout for well researched historical fiction.
Again, glad I found this site.

The Tom
