please change the 10 for "The blood of Elves"
As i'm a big fan of my countryman's story The Witcher before it was famous due to the success of the game

Generally the story starts from the blood of elves
two books (now signed as 1st and 2nd part of the whole used to be set of short stories about killing monsters by the witcher and the beginning of love with one woman.
After mainstream success, publishers made them as two first parts. they're quite boring and can be read as complement to the whole story
