So team, I made a basic spreadsheet if we want to use it. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... with 3 tabs so if we can't use it right away, we can push it back or move things. We don't have to, especially if someone else has something better. Only thing I advise is not to claim very many books (maybe 1-2 at a time) and then only those we can finish and post in a timely manner. This way we aren't holding anyone up for long and we hopefully won't have to move much, especially in ways that might cost us points. This is just an idea though. :)

Exhausted. Training an older puppy and dealing with hurting dog at the same time is hard! Especially when I toss in work and other obligations.

Uh. Okay? She is going through a guard dog phase right now so she is barking a lot. Mostly at other dogs but also, squirrels, shadows, people, etc.

I really need to get her back into a class. We are just not motivated enough without one it seems.

We did take her to the dog park yesterday and she went in with the big dogs! Big step for us all. Went really well. She was starting to get comfortable with the two left (originally there were 3) but then too many dogs came.

By next week things should be easier. Sparky gets his stitches removed Monday so then the dogs can play some then. No more constantly covering his neck every 5 minutes lol


Good to hear Ruby did good at the good park. Is she letting you get any reading time yet? Or sims or other fun things?

Kind of? I try to read when I sit with her. Sometimes when we do a long car ride she will go in her crate and I can read them too.

I have some buddy reads set for the first so I was going to add one to the spreadsheet but it wont let me do you want me to post the book here so you can add it or am I just being stupid and there's a way I can do it?

So far I added my BR starting the 1st and then a manga series I am reading. Both should be quick.

If it does, let me know what you did! I might need a new one myself! Haha this pup does not like me reading a physical book. He is very much hands and attention on him right now.

It's mostly just reading a set amount of pages of 5 different books a day. It'll be. New book, need to finish from 2019, need to finish from 2018, Netgalley and Edelweiss. I will let you know if it works!

Cool thank you. I think I'd prefer using it as you said it can become time consuming if you read a book for letters then someone else reads for the same letters.

I will add one book at a time so I can definitely say it'll only be a few days at the most. Some days I can read several books other times it takes me several days per book.

I used a different title version. It is why I linked it.

You can (and should) use the highest for page counts but the title can be a different edition. but there is no way to use the S, O or A with it. The letters have to be the first letter of the word So you can use D, W, T, R, B. OR you can you take 2 or more letters in order in the title/author you can use them in order in the tagline.

I bet. Hard training from those I know who joined Marines. And of course you can come chat here. Hopefully your team is more chatty later once this actually starts.

***For everyone, to max out points for letters, if the letter is taken on the first or even second round of taglines, calim and still post for later. Sarah did say we can do that. So if we all have a lot of B's to post we can. Over and over again. We just don't get the completion bonus until we get the rest.

SO our score tracking might look like this:

Number of times completed = 0

And that is okay. Although obviously it is worth trying to complete the taglines but don't feel you can only take a one letter bonus or something Fill in the blanks to complete when possible but if we need to post doubles that is okay.

So the multiple tabs will come in handy. :) And we can add more if needed.

Okay thank you. I am getting confused on what we can and can't do. I'll get it soon. If people can make my letters count more or in better ways please feel free to do so. I want to help the team as much as I can.

No worries. I've been doing these challenge a few years now and I still get confused.

I think I've sorted out the spreadsheet but if you can find a better way then please do it. When I looked at the editions they all had the same name so I can't have any other letters. I think I can get 4 out of that book.

I moved your W book for Whispers to IS since we can claim books that have 2 or more letters together. Keeps you at max bonus :)

I am double checking with Sarah though to be sure if we can split among all 3 taglines. I know we can do two so if she says no I'll do a bit more moving for us both. :) Luckily we have time.

I hope we do well. :) And yes we can use all three taglines for one book.

So the only no-no I've seen is we can't use the same book for the exact same letter. Like, we can use a t to cover one t and another T to cover a different T but if we read "Babbling Brooke" for example we can't use the B in Believe twice for the same book post. But we can use that B again on a different book. :)

Hopefully our last two team members check in soon. I have Windfall and my manga ready to go for tomorrow! Of course, I have a couple other books to finish today for this months challenge. See you all tomorrow!

It's looking like I may not finish a book today, so it might carry over to October. Then I'll be reading Everlost.
