Jenny, you're a genius! I say it's an excellent guess! I say we submit the guess! :) But we are only 2 of 8, 6 checked in. LOL

I was looking at the review thread and Felicia said the 1st part is where she'll keep track of whether we read the # of books we signed up for, so I am wondering if we get a penalty if we read too few or too much. I signed up for this:
Oct. 15
Nov. 20
Dec. 15

Just to be sure I understand, if the right answer is Enclave by Ann Aguirre, then each of us will need to read a book that covers one of the letters in the book's title and author's name, right?

If so, we will need to work together so we aren't stepping on each other''s toes. Jenny, would the letters be put in the SS and then we just add our names next to the letter we're going to cover?

I just want to get my book squared away before I leave for Cabo.

I don't think she'll have a problem with you reading more than that. She'll probably see if you read less so that she can make the teams accordingly next time.

Okay - I added our answer to Clue 1 SS for covers with NO living thing on it. Go ahead and fill in the books you plan on reading the first week in October - that could be 1 book up to 8 books. Depending on what you signed up for.

Turns out that I can't add my second book to the list because it doesn't have any of these letters, lol. I'll probably add it to the banked section when I'm done. xD

That's cool. For your first book can you include the author too? I'm guessing that's where the A is coming from.

Yes. Haha. We can include the author's initials, the first letter of any word of the title or the first letter of the series title.

@Elleirin, how many books did you say you could read Oct, Nov, Dec? I can't find it in the sign up thread.

@Felicia, do we get penalized if an individual reads too much or too little, or at the team level if the team reads too much or too little? Our team in October signed up to read 74 books (plus whatever Elleirin said). How close do we have to be to our individual or group commitment?

Vicki - 2 claimed out of 15
Mayra - 0 claied out of 15
Susan - 0 claimed out of 10-12 pm
Tim - 0 claimed out of 5 pm (not checked in yet)
Ritika - 2 claimed out of 8
Kelli - 0 claimed out of 4 (not checked in yet)
Elleirin - 0 claimed out of 4

You don't get penalized for anything. It's just for purposes to keep track of what people sya their going to read. So say for this challenge and the last Clue challenge you didn't read as many books as you said you would, next challenge I will put that into account.

Also, I would only put in books that you are currently reading. Because if a slower reader claims their two books for the month right now that means your not going to finish your first clue until the end of the month.

I'd also say to let teammates move books around if it'll help you finish a clue faster. If you have to bank someones book until next clue then that's what you gotta do.

Jenny, which 2 books did I claim? You can please put me down for All the Girls Are Missing, if A is still open?. Then let me look and get back on the other.
