With regards to the next theme Duke, ' 'Two-fer-one tracks' - Any track that is really two songs in one', are there many of them, as I can only think of one, (which if nominated would probably bomb hard).

On some albums, there are sometimes 2 (or more, but try and keep it to 2, please!) songs 'joined' together. These tracks can either be listed with a forward slash between the two song titles, & listed together on track listings, or a song that seemlessly leads into the next one. Sometimes, on the radio, these songs get played together, &/or you'll find these tracks listed as one 'song' on YT. They are sometimes known as 'Conjoined twin' or 'Siamese Twin' tracks. These songs may have a similar rhythym/bass line running through both tracks, or they may change completely as one feeds into the next, usually seemlessly, although some may have a slight pause in the middle.
It should be noted, that this theme isn't confused with mash ups (as we've already done that theme), or remixed or sampled tracks (known as multiplex songs); just the original songs that are 'joined' on the albums.
As an example..a track i recently nominated for a previous round, that qualifies, is Boney M's 'Nightflight to Venus/Rasputin'...but i doubt anybody would like to hear that one again!
Some other examples i can think of are: The White Stripes' 'Pricky Thorn, But Sweetly Worn/St. Andrew'; Green Day's 'Brain Stew/Jaded', also 'Last of the American Girls/Murder City', of which those two don't sound right unless they're played together. Weezer has the tracks 'Pink Triangle', which leads straight into 'Falling for You'; The Doors with 'Peace Frog/Blue Sunday'; Syd Barrett's 'Waving My Arms In The Air/I Never Lied To You'; Pink Floyd has several possibles, including 'The Happiest Days of Our Lives/Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2', plus some tracks from Dark Side Of The Moon, that would also qualify, & 'Empty Spaces' is rarely ever played without it's lead intro track 'Young Lust'.
My favourite band, even has an entire album of 9 songs, where they all play seemlessly in infinity! But don't worry..i won't be nommin' that lot! ;-D But they do have another track(s) that also qualifies, which i might nom, or I might not! Well shall see, won't we! Mwahahahahaha!
And there are plenty of other similarly qualifiable candidates out there.
I cannot find an actual webpage list of suitable tracks..but here's a link to a page that explains "Conjoined/Siamese songs, that does have a split music genre catagory, containing some qualifiable candidates, to peruse through. So, hopefully you can find something you like on there.

Re the 'Two-fer-one tracks' theme, I'm looking at a song where the singer lost his place and began unwittingly singing the second song - it seemed to work so he recorded it. But they were two distinct songs originally. Is this okay?

Right, sorry for the delay folks, my mind was elsewhere yesterday evening.Well..there can be no doubt as to whom bagged the gold this week..with a very very impressive score. A couple a weeks ago, we were struggling to break into double figures....but at 30 maHOOsive points, it's a band that my brother has been to see many a time. This week's resounding winner is 'A Sailor's Life' by Fairport Convention, so the gold gong goes to SussexWelsh, well done with one sah.
I must confess..on first hearing it..it didn't grab me initially....but then it got better and better with each play. Mibbe my 3 points for it would've increased to 5..if i listened to it a few more times! :)
And in a round with so many closely scoring competitors, & 2nd & 3rd places could have gone to any of them...but we have 2 songs tied on 21 points apiece; they are: 'Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man' by The Rolling Stones, nominated by Tim, & 'Fisherman' by The Congos, nominated by Tech Sergeant the 23rd.
The countback reveals, that The Congos scored 2 Max points to the wrinkly rockers 1, so Tech gets the silver gong & Tim the bronze.
And finally....alas Gordon's Irish folk band nomination 'The Dublin Jack of All Trades' by The Dubliners, failed to garner a single point, so he gets a lovely crisp wooden spoon. Maybe that old adage rings true with this one; jack of all trades = master of none! :)

September is almost done, and an interesting month that is October, awaits us all. But knickers to all that, let's go jobbing straight into the new round shall we? It's time to grab your tools, & ya filofaxes (yah right Duke, that was like..so 20th century like, man), & your CVs, as we all head on down to the labour exchange (it's the 21st century DUKE!!!)..and dig out some new choons befitting this week's theme..which is:
