I finished American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century and it was horrifying. Period. I'm currently reading a few other books as well: The Darkest Part of the Forest, The Tenth Girl, The Shadowhunter's Codex, Empire of Storms, and I'm listening to My Favorite Half-Night Stand on audio. I'll check back in when I've finished another read!

⫸ The Blacksmith Queen: absolute disappointment. story and characters and ... just the whole damn thing was ridiculous.
⫸ The Catcher in the Rye: definitely better than expected. i don't enjoy classics usually.
⫸ All of Me: i did not expect this to be so emotionally challenging for me.
⫸ Die Frau, die frei sein wollte: Roman nach einer wahren Geschichte: touching story but the execution was poor: chronology = noodle soup, writing style = total joke.
⫸ Nobody Else But You: I don't know what to tell ya, this was not a book I enjoyed.
⫸ Renovate Your Relationships: A Proven Guide to Setting Boundaries and Building Bridges with Those Who Matter Most: Very educating and enlightening, it inspired me to take action and work more on how I behave in relationships.
⫸ The Rosie Project: A somewhat entertaining read, I found myself to be very detached from the story as a whole.
⫸ Hush, Hush: Although not as gripping as it was a couple of years ago, it was still enjoyable. My fear of hating this book did not come true.
⫸ Sanctus: what a dreadful book. I gave up after the first 50 pages and I am not ashamed to say it. absolutely not my style. chucked the entire trilogy from my shelves.

Hello Again! Tonight I finished The Darkest Part of the Forest (4/5★) & My Favorite Half-Night Stand(4.5/5★). I really liked both of these books and would definitely recommend them! I am still reading The Tenth Girl, Empire of Storms, and The Shadowhunter's Codex. I'm slowly making progress through these and I've also started Pumpkinheads, which should be a pretty quick one to get through. Ive had a pretty good reading month so far; I haven't read anything that I didn't like which is always good! hope y'all are having a good start to your month and are enjoying the fall (or whichever season you are in wherever you are 😉).

Finished Pumpkinheads and it was such a lovely little book! I gave it 5 stars. I'm going to work on the books I've already got started before starting something new.

I've put 10 books on my list for OWNtober. We're half way through the month and so far, I've managed to finish 2: two Twisted Tales (Reflection & Frozen: conceal, don't feel). I enjoyed reading both books. Guess I'm in the mood right now for some magic.

We'll see how the rest of the month will go. I'm reading Scar, by Alice Broadway right now. It's not a big book, so that's good for my challenge.

I'm guessing that I'll finish another 2-3 books this month, so will be 5 or 6 out of 10.

Update 10/28: yeah, leaving your books at your boyfriend's house, is not beneficial for decreasing your reading pile... *doh*
It only makes me start a new book, and then taking too long to finish... *sigh*

Update 10/30: did finish a small book of 239 pages in just 3 days. So small victory.
Hoping to finish another book by tomorrow. Made no specific plans and I should have the evening to myself tomorrow night. Wish me luck!

I've changed my list around from what it initially was. Partly due to uni commitments, but also it was probably always just a bit too big for this month, I've been rather busy.

I am, however, halfway through my list. Almost finished with the book I'm currently reading and then it's just a few short ones left to go. :)

I was reading 2 uni books at the same time and finished them this week! now I'm reading Spinning !!

I've changed my list twice this month and keep adding the odd book to it where I have time! But I'm on my final book of the month and should finish it before November, so I've done pretty well.

EDIT- I finished it. That's 10 books this month! :D Some have been short ones, but still.
