Dean Ryan Martin No. You're not alone. I am also not the biggest fan of the book. The story is too young and too ideal for me, maybe.

Alfred William Gave it 3 out of 6 I still think it was a great book...

hope I personally loved this book. I read it when I was 8 and absolutely fell in love with it. I went on to read books 2 and 3- book 2 was great, but book 3 was a waste of time. It's not for everyone, though.

Susan R. Believe it or not, I never heard of the book until all the movie hype came out. The teasers for the movie looked interesting, so I immediately bought the book because I always try to read the book before seeing the movie. I found the book to be dull, and I believe it might have been due to Ms. L'Engle's writing because I absolutely loved the entire Harry Potter series and that is just as magical/fantastical as A Wrinkle in Time.

Akd200 Martin I was recommended this series by my friends daughter (child) and loved it, especially the mitochondria concept!

gwen nolte As an adult, and with a signed copy, it did not thrill me. As a teacher who taught it to 6th graders, I have a different opinion. My students, usually socially and emotionally disturbed boys, would absolutely love it. So , for this age group, I would give it a 5/5.
