Chris (reading_and_wheeling) | 6 comments Hi everyone! I'm Chris, age 39, and I live in Kansas. I was born with Spina Bifida and use a wheelchair full time. I've loved the mystery and thriller genres since I read Hardy Boys and Encyclopedia Brown in my childhood. My favorite authors include Sue Grafton, John Lescroart, John Grisham, James Patterson, Ruth Ware, and Harlan Coben. Aside from reading, I enjoy watching sports, listening to music, and photography. I look forward to getting to interact with you all!

Susan Hi Chris! Welcome. I am saddened by Sue Grafton's death. I miss her. I agree with Thomas about Linda Castillo. Do you like historical mysteries?

Chris (reading_and_wheeling) | 6 comments Thank you all for the welcome!

@Thomas I have Craig Johnson on my TBR. I am not familiar with Linda Castillo however. I'll look her up!

@Susan: I haven't read many historical mysteries. Only 3 that I can think of off the top of my head. Do you have any recommendations?

@Lena and @Icewineanne Thank you!

I am a big fan of Matthew Shardlake, a hunchback lawyer in Henry VIII's time, written by CJ Sansom.
