GETTING TO KNOW YOU

<closed thread>What are you currently reading?

I've now started listening to Prince Caspian for the second half of Task 15.10. I'm really enjoying the Narnia series. Wish I'd read them as a kid. I would have loved them then.
I'm also reading The Children's Book, which is very detailed but in a good way, and Ironweed.

I've got to hurry up and read Stolen so I can get to Dime Store Magic. I've read Bitten and thought it was pretty good. I'm not all that interested in Stolen, but I like the title Dime Store Magic so I want to read it. I'm not even certain what it's about. I just like the title. Is that weird ;o)?
-I wasn't very keen on Dime Store Magic which surprised me when I've loved the others I've read so far including the continuing story in book 4 Industrial Magic. I hope you like the book though! I hope to get on to Haunted later this week...

Dee, they really are charming stories. The magic and talking animals and being Queen of a magical Land would have been very appealing to me at a younger age.

I've just started Uncommon Arrangements: Seven Portraits of Married Life in London Literary Circles 1910-1939 by Katie Roiphe.

I enjoyed Dead Witch Walking and Dead to the World. Hope you'll like them!

Kristi,
I checked[book:The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks out fromt he library last Saturday, I'm looking forward to reading it, heard a lit of good things about it.

Hope you enjoy it, Amanda. I thought it was one of the better popular science books I've read in a while.

Starting In Cold Blood: A True Account of a Multiple Murder and Its Consequences now.

Same here...I have 8 of the books in the series but haven't quite got round to it yet! Hoping to fit in Storm Front for task 15.5 if I have time before the challenge finishes...

Tonight I read Vampire Knight, Volume 1 by Matsuri Hino (樋野 まつり) for task 15.1. It's not yet 1am so there are another couple of hours for my next read...Raven Queen by Pauline Francis.

I've been meaning to read it for a while, too. I put Christine Feehan into the Literature Map (for 15.5) and Jim Butcher came up. Glad I finally got the chance to read it.

DOH! Homer Simpson moment...
...starting No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong

Ooh two very good books Mariyam! I LOVED The Book Thief!

Meghan, I like the way the daisy pulling follows the pictures of the three guys--which one does she pick?

I think you should read Tuesdays with Morrie
