Oh! Thanks for that info!
I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it. I hope to get to it soon.

Hope you like Eat, Pray, Love more than I did.

Uh-oh. I just read your review and I can already see where you're coming from, especially with the humour being forced. We'll see how it comes along for me. I like that it's a no-brainer kind of read - perfect for when I'm waiting in line somewhere, or other moments when I really can't afford to tune the world out and concentrate.

I'll be curious to see how it goes for you!

He Shall Thunder in the Sky (#15.7)
Brother Fish (#10.7)

Haven't really been in the mood to go far on this one. Reminds me too much of Battle Royale, which I had watched (movie) and read in the past. I'll probably get through it at some point.
A Satyr's Tale: Selby and Darius(10.1)
This one is just too much sex for sex's sake. Again, I have to be the in the right mood to read this. Obviously not the same mood as Hunger Games ;)
The First Full Moon
Interesting shapeshifter m/m romance. I've just been distracted lately and got a little burnt out on m/m.
Special Forces - Soldiers
Intense and edgy m/m book. I'm just not in the right mindset to read more of this one right now, either.
Cethe(5.4)
I'm reading this, chapter by slow chapter. It's interesting, just a very long book and I do get distracted easily.
Lover Enshrined(15.2)
Rereading this one also for the JR Ward group re-read. My least favorite BDB book, but I'm getting through it.
I have several books out from the library. Some I've finished. Some I haven't cracked open yet. I also have a hold on a few books, Full Dark No Stars (25.4) on Playaway being one of them. Audio books take me so much longer to read, but I figure that since it is all short stories, I could listen while doing chores or cleaning.

Room was a difficult book for me to read....very disturbing, but like a train wreck you had to keep going back......

I second this. I really liked Room and would have liked to listen to the audiobook. It was such a haunting narrative

Did they have a child doing Jack's voice?

I'm trying not to read Agent X by Noah Boyd too fast. So far it is so good- a protagonist along the lines of Lee Child's Jack Reacher or Robert Crais's Joe Pike, but with more humor. Plenty of action, but not quite as dark as those two. The Bricklayer introduced Steve Vail

So, back to my laundry - and OUTLANDER!

I've gotta change to a different book. This is the sixth time I've started this book since it came out in 1977 and I still can't hack it. Ralph and Meggie and crew will have to move on without me.
