Here is Simon and a newcomer playing Izzy which will be interesting. Hopefully she can cut because she only stared Spanish t.v shows. If she can get the American accent down then she will be okay hopefully. She actually fits Izzy pretty well same with the guy who is playing Simon.

Here is our Clary she is a good actress though I only see her play a mean girl on Girl v.s Monster which is totally different and set for a younger audience let's hope she is good.

The movie was awful it took out so many important parts the lines were cheesy. All of the actors didn't really do a great job most of them were models and it didn't really help that there was no world building or anything for the next movie. I'mg glad its going to be a t.v show it will represent it better.

I have very mixed feelings about the Shadowhunter TV show xD
Like, obviously as a fan of the series I'm very excited to see all the people and places in the book essentially 'come to life,' but as we've all learned, it's not as simple as that (unfortunately). We have to deal with cast members who don't fit our imagination, favorite scenes cut out, favorite lines left out, unfamiliar new things being added...
I'm naturally very excited, but I'm just trying to keep my hopes at a realistic level, because I think almost everyone was at least slightly disappointed with different parts of the movie, and that's how adaptations always are.

But that being said, the cast looks great and I love the teaser set photos that they're posting!! Can't wait~
(we should do like a Twitter party or something during the first episode lol that'd be cool)

I don't think so, since they're doing the tv show.

I love the casting, absolutely in love. But the thing is with tv series is that there will be made so many changes from the book and I honestly don't know whether my heart can take that lol.

I actually really like the whole casting except Harry Shum as Magnus (I love Harry, he's a babe, I just can't see him as Magnus) but I haven't decided if I'm gonna watch the show or not =/ There's so many things that could go wrong but there also so many that could go right and that makes me really conflicted.

Guys the show doesn't look awful. If you want to see awful go watch the movie. The show has promise also they aren't done editing the show yet. So things WILL be different. You can't judge it until you watch it.
