I probably ought to have posted this one a while ago as he's just finished the American leg of his tour, but Garth Nix is now touring the UK and Ireland:

Erin Morgenstern is doing a tour to go with her new book coming out (The Starless Sea). I loved The Night Circus so I'm excited to see what she comes up with next.

I ended up seeing Garth Nix, Joe Abercrombie and Peter F. Hamilton at the Nix signing I went to :D

Thanks for the heads up Vinca, I enjoyed the Night Circus too, it was one of the first books this group read! I'm tempted, but I'll have to first see how many pennies I have (having just been to one and bought books!)

Haha, glad to be the bearer of good news Cendaquenta 🙂. I only found out by accident because the store she's visiting in Edinburgh is brand new and I happened to be looking at their website at the right time.

I've seen Joe Abercrombie and Peter F Hamilton before, both good to see in person. Ashamed to say I've still not read the First Law trilogy though...

Brent Weeks is coming to Salt Lake this Saturday, and Madeline Miller is coming I think tomorrow.

I would love to see Garth Nix or Jonathan Stroud! But most authors don’t make it overseas.

Audrey, Garth Nix did do a US tour, I just started this thread a bit late and he'd already done it! Keep your eyes peeled as I know he's already got another book planned so there'll probably be another tour :)

I'd love to see Tamora Pierce, but I don't think she tours abroad.
