Hi Stephen,Thanks for the link--don't have time to read it right now--have to get ready for my writers meeting to go and read my work aloud to others and find out how it needs pruning--so very relevant!
Do you write academically? I'm writing a book and have written lots of short pieces. Don't have to transition from one mode to the other. It's interesting, though, how they differ. I'm looking forward to reading this article.
No, I don't do academic writing. Thank Heaven!
Do you do other kinds of writing? I'm glad I don't do academic writing, too. My sister does. She's a psychologist.
